    I really hope that Miss Minutes account is indeed official, because they used the language I like by saying that variants exist in the same universe as their sacred timeline counterparts, just on different branches. Which is always what sense to me regardless of the language used in the movies and shows.

      I like it too; however, this doesn't explain the various, very much non-Tom Hiddleston, Loki variants from season 1 (and season 2 accounting for Sylvie). Unless you say they are just taking on other forms as Loki is prone to do and just more comfortable looking like someone or something else.

      @@ghiggs8389 You could chalk it up to his ability to shapeshift, but you could also chalk it up to Loki's genetics arranging differently. Though the Alligator Loki is, admittedly, far more confusing than Loki being a woman or black.

      Love, love, love Moon Girl. What a fun show. As for whether or not Moon Girl is in the same universe as the main MCU, my guess is no, but I'd be fine either way, tbh. As long as she will appear in Secret Wars down the road, then I'm good. As for What If, I think that isn't an animated show, per se, but that it's a creative choice to show it as animated. It's similar to how Werewolf By Night isn't in a black and white universe, but was shown in B&W for creative reasons and same with the Guardians Holiday Special's flashbacks...those were shown as animated as a creative choice. But yeah, I really love Moon Girl. Can't wait for the rest of season 2 to drop!

    Intrested point to bring up. In Dark World it is stated that the Dark Elves existed before time and therefore before the Infinity Stones and the Big Bang. So like that potentially implies something existed before the Black Holes were created, like a black void where Eternity and the other Abstracts made existence on. Also, if Eternity and the others made the Infinity Stones, is there multiple of them, or did they make all of them. Hmmm.
    Also, the Dark Elves have Black Hole Grenades. So that's very interesting considering how Black Holes are very important now. However, Moon Girl did mention non spinning, so maybe these are spinning Black Holes and not Multiverse travel ones.

    • @AbitofEverything4U

    The thing is that in the MCU we have only seen 4 universes: Friendly neighbor , Amazing, Sony's SSU and Fox, the rest have only been timelines, since the events happen linearly and the director of Multiverse of madness said the different nexus events of each timeline of the movie. 838 was that Ultron worked as expected.
    So it's correct that the Spider Men are not variants but Mordo and the rest are.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  2 месяца назад

      Hmmm...interesting theory on 838. The reason I think that it is an alternate universe is that Waldron wrote MoM and he was the one saying that it wasn't connected to 616 and thus only America Chavez could have transported them to that universe. Plus, we know that 838 had the potential of causing an incursion with 616. So my guess is that it is a separate universe. But I could be wrong. So I really appreciate you sharing your theory!

    We shouldn't forget that America Chavez is from an other universe. Her star portals contrast the usual octogonal portals we are used to in the Marvel universe. Does it mean her universe's fabric is made out of star shapes ? Are we going to be confronted with her universe collapsing onto ours ? Personally, I'd love it if they show us completly different heroes in that world with one having the ego stone meaning even the stones aren't the same but also meaning her universe is close to ours in it's core. Also her powers may be linked to her dimension's equivalent to the space stone.

    I've been wanting to watch Moon Girl for a while, but just haven't gotten around to it, now that'll probably be the next thing I watch after finishing X-Men: the Animated Series. I agree that it would be cool to see Lunella and Devil Dinosaur in live-action at some point, not sure who I'd choose to play her in live-action, but it would be cool to see.
    As far as your Multiverse Model, the way you were talking about it, especially during the Moon Girl section, almost makes it sound like Black Holes exist between the Universes rather than at the start of them like you have it currently. I would say the singularity is the Big Bang, as that's, scientifically speaking, the start of our own Universe. I sort of wonder too if the way they displayed the Multiverse in the MCU isn't exactly how it's laid out, what I mean is I believe DC have done it in the past where every Universe occupies the same point in space (sort of stacked on top of each other in a sense), but they vibrate at different frequencies from each other which is why they don't just immediately crash into one another, perhaps that was the MCU's way of showing something similar.
    You bring up the Universe jump from the Marvels, Dar-Benn was using the grid system established in Guardians to do her thing, so it seems to imply that the grid is also able to somehow connect between Universes as well, or at least for someone wielding the Bangles. I also wonder too if that'll be another way characters can get places for Secret Wars, Kamala using the Bangles (the brief time she had both they seemed to like her, so I don't think she'd disintegrate from using them like Dar-Benn did) and America using her portals, or at least use them to recruit some kids for Young Avengers.
    Speaking of America's portals, I don't think she's creating Black Holes, or if she is she's able to contain them within the star shape. Rather, I think her portals sort of work similar to the grid or the sling ring portals (which is probably why Strange had her training to make sling ring portals) where she's just able to bypass the in between parts of the Multiverse and just go right to where she wants to go. I guess to simplify it a bit, America essentially has a giant shovel or a giant pair of scissors that she can use to dig into or cut through the stuff between Universes, like to get out a window you would normally have to push the curtains out of the way and open the glass part of the window whereas America can just leave the curtains and window glass closed and cut a hole through them to get out the window, if that makes any sense.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  3 месяца назад

      Great feedback!
      I agree, it doesn't seem like a black hole is the start of the universe and instead it is a singularity or perhaps a white hole like we saw in What If.
      As for the grid system, it was described as a Universal Neural Teleportation Network...a system of wormholes through the space-time continuum aka, jump points…which allows people to hop between different planetary systems. So I don't know if the grid system allows jumping between universes, but I agree that the Bangles definitely allow opening a rift between universes.
      As for America's portals, it's hard to say how they work. The grid system doesn't seem able to jump between universes and I don't know that the sling ring can do it either. But I am really curious to know how she does it. Maybe we'll learn more about it when she next appears.
      Anyway, excellent commentary, as always!

    I still wonder how people in alternate universes share their face with someone from 616 if they have absolutely no connection to it.
    I do think this model is as accurate as we can get so far, but why oh why is 838 basically like a variant universe from What If?, except called something else, and traveled to with America's star?
    Actually, all the normal ones (i.e., not paint, cube, etc.) are exactly like branches.
    Also, Kang is the same face every single time.
    It's so confusing thinking about it.
    What makes a parallel/alternate world both not be a branch and still similar?

    The idea of a persons decision causing a singularity that creates a branched timeline is interesting because an observer in that branch would surely still see the Big Bang as the singularity that created their universe, but that’s actually the singularity that spawned the original universe. The singularity that created a branch is invisible to those on a branch. The history of their universe before the character makes their big decision is false and is just the history of the original universe.

    Black holes have such an interesting presence in the mcu and even the wider marvel universe that it was really cool to hear your thoughts on this.
    Personally while I LOVE the idea of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur being connected to the mcu, I personally even see it as a branch off the mcu’s main timeline, I can’t say I agree with you on the interdimensional highway thing. To me that looks like general space sci fi travel, I mean color it white and it’s the same as a light speed jump in Star Wars, it even looks similar to 2001 but that’s definitely not even remotely related to the mcu.
    I do think that they have been pretty consistent with the mcu’s black holes and I think that America using black holes makes a lot of sense, though I personally find it hard to see. I’m curious to see if we’ll ever get a true origin to the mcu and how it was formed. I imagine that may have been something from kang, planned in kang dynasty but that may never happen due to the drama surrounding the actor.

      @@himawariuzumaki6066 Branched Timelines and Branched Universes are interchangeable. But the difference between an Branched Universe like in What If and an Alternative Universe like 838 is that one is connected to a main timeline and the other is adjacent and not connected.

      @AbitofEverything4U  3 месяца назад +1

      @@himawariuzumaki6066 The terminology used in different MCU entries can be confusing. In Loki, they refer to the branches as timelines but in What If, the Watcher calls the branches universes. But in either case, the key distinction is whether they are branched off the main 616 universe or whether they are branches from a totally separate universe (such as 838). Well this should be interesting ... and man new steelbooks. Very interesting take on the 'variant' definition too. Also when it comes to timeline/variant universe hopping it does seem you need to know your stuff and have either the tech or the magic in the case of Scarlet Witch and Strange. I also just noticed the tear of realities ... is a hexagon ... but that might be because of the bangles and how they create hexagon portals. What I love about the Moon Girl part is that the Alcubierre Drive is the real world speculation of Star Trek's warp drive. Really interesting how now Marvel and Star Trek are kind of tied together. Oooo, I never considered that Chavez's power channels black holes ... that's interesting. Also that's definitely a white hole I think. Also ... That post from Miss Minutes is interesting. I've always thought it was a looser term to describe one of your counterparts, which always bothered me because I knew there was a difference between a variant from a parallel universe and a variant from a branched timeline.
    I've always said that specific terms would lessen audience confusion, which is why I always use either parallel universe or branched timeline instead of universe or timeline. Your explanation of that in other videos is good too.
    That specific terms mindset has also led me to come up with the terms Dimensional Variant and Temporal Variant. Dimensional Variants are from a parallel universe's original timeline (Tobey, Andrew, and Tom), while Temporal Variants are from branched timelines of their respective original timeline (God of Stories Loki, Sylvie, Classic Loki, Kid Loki, etc.). But if the Miss Minutes account is official, I wonder what term they'll use in place of my Dimensional Variant term. Since they're different, they should use different (or more specific) terms.
    Also, I thought the black hole visual was only seen in Loki. I'm so glad it's actually being used in other projects because the visual in Loki really nailed it! I'm shocked at how close even Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur lines up with Loki! Great observations!

      I found it...it was 4 months ago and you said: Firstly, there's no inherent branching between timelines. Rather each universe is effectively "branched" from the big bang making them only very loosely connected. This is why it's near impossible to traverse them like America Chavez does - because they deviate from the start and thus aren't parallel at any point. Chavez must travel back through the big bang to reach other universes which might explain her star-shaped portals?? Just like there's no straight line between the points of a star, there's no direct path between universes. You have to draw a line back toward the center (the big bang) to connect your line to another point.

Let’s say that a Kang (who doesn’t want to be a part of the council wanted to conquer a Multiverse outside his own such as the 616 Kang wanting to conquer the 838 Multiverse, how would he be able to navigate back and forth from the correct black holes and how would his army be able to do it as well, also how would he be able to destroy that Black hole containing its own Multiverse with unique timelines if it didn’t submit? That's a great question. Keep in mind that they never told us how those original Kangs discovered each other. HWR just explains in Loki Season 1's finale that they found each other. Excellent comments! So I didn't mention wormholes, but I probably should have for completeness. They don't seem to allow travel between universes. But they are used as part of the grid system, which was described as a Universal Neural Teleportation Network...a system of wormholes through the space-time continuum aka, jump points…which allows people to hop between different planetary systems. Perhaps the Devil's Anus was a form of a wormhole as well? Will be interesting to see if anyone is willing to use jump points again after the events of The Marvels. Anyway, great feedback on the vid!

    regarding the question of how new timelines are created and whether that creates new matter, that's a real question physicists who believe in many worlds need to contend with. I'm not a many worlds proponent, but from what I understand the way they justify it is by saying that basically, the timeline split doesn't create new matter, it literally splits the universe, so that each resulting timeline only contains half the energy. to us existing within the universe it looks the same but if it was possible to travel between timelines that would presumably have effects.

    This may be off topic, but did you ever make any videos discussing how the different Kangs/HWR’s were able to meet and exchange ideas without causing incursions? And also how HWR’s death caused the timelines to branch out, since he’s not supposed to be a supernatural being, right?

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  3 месяца назад +1

      Great questions...I've always wondered how the Kangs were able to meet safely. Perhaps we'll find out that Kang tech allows them to safely jump between universes? Or perhaps they didn't meet long enough to create incursions? I agree, I'm really curious about that. About HWR's death causing the timelines to branch out, my assumption on that is that the out of control branching started as soon as Mobius and B-15 ordered the pruning to stop in the season 1 finale. That was the "threshold" and at that point, HWR no longer had a script for what would happen. Discussing that would indeed be a cool video. In fact, I feel like a summary of everything that's happened in the multiverse saga would be worth doing, even though it may be a longer video. Anyway, excellent suggestions!

    Pretty interesting. I never really paid much attention to the black holes shown in all these various places, so it's interesting to see you point out all these occurrences here. I do wonder if their significance will ever be clarified on-screen. Since black holes are naturally-occurring, I do wonder how easy it would normally be for someone trapped in a parallel universe to do the Moon Girl thing (I haven't actually seen that show) and fly toward a black hole at the speed of light to get back to their own universe. Or would they have any control over which universe they travel to? Maybe that could be the catch, and why you need some special assistance like the bangles (supposedly Kang tech) or America Chavez's power. I guess the multiverse model rules out the Quantum Realm as a mechanism for travelling between separate universes like I once thought.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  3 месяца назад +1

      Good point about not knowing how to reach a specific universe when traveling thru a black hole. Perhaps you can't use the black hole to reach someone else's universe, but you can use it to find your way home? Very good question. And I do still wonder if the Quantum Realm connects parallel universes, but it would be the same issue you raised about black holes...you don't know how to reach some random universe. All you can do is return back to your own.

    • @Celebok
      @Celebok 2 месяца назад +1

      @@AbitofEverything4U Yeah, that makes sense that you could only use a black hole to return to your own universe, because you supposedly have some quantum signature or whatever that corresponds to your universe of origin. So it's either that, or you end up in some random universe that you have no control over.
      I don't remember if you've mentioned anything in previous videos that supports or contracts my understanding of this, but based on what I do know you've talked about, I was thinking that each base universe (with its own tree and its own big bang) would have its own quantum realm. So you could use the quantum realm to travel from one branch to another, but not from one universe to another parallel universe. But I don't remember the exact quote you've mentioned where somebody described the quantum realm as the basement of the multiverse or whatever, so I'm not sure if that covers all universes, or just the ones connected by branches.

    • @AbitofEverything4U
      @AbitofEverything4U  2 месяца назад +1

      So, on the quantum realm, we honestly don't know much...but Jeff Loveness described it as the basement of the multiverse, so theoretically, any universe could enter it. For instance, I think Janet entered it from 616 but that the Kang that entered it in Quantumania wasn't from 616 but was from a different universe and was exiled there during the first multiversal war. So perhaps it can be entered from any universe but can only be exited back to your own universe due some type of quantum signature each person has. But just my working theory on that.

      Oh, I agree...it's time for Marvel to kick this into high gear. I applaud the multiversal slow burn that Marvel has given us during Phase 4 and the first part of Phase 5, but now the hints and clues need to come together with a big reveal. I have a feeling that might happen with Deadpool 3. Fingers crossed!

      My guess is that the Raimi and Webb universes are separate, as well as Venom. As for Madame Webb...I want to pretend that never happened. lol.

Also ... Peter talking about an eternal inflation system links into Loki S2 about the eternally expanding variant timeline universes ... wow. And finally ... META PHYSICS SUCKS.

      lol! Metaphysics do indeed suck. I hope there's no test on all of this before Secret Wars. Imagine the theatre ushers passing out a set of questions you have to successfully answer before you're allowed to watch the movie. Oooof!
