Well everybody, it's finally here! The very first episode of my series, Thomas & Friends: Back on Track! “The Eyesight Test” is based on a magazine story I discovered on the Thomas Wikia way back in 2019. The whole premise of giving an engine an eyesight test was so different and bizarre to me that I was immediately intrigued. Although I’ve never read the original story, I decided to rewrite my own version of the story, loosely based on the description from the Wikia.
“The Eyesight Test” was originally filmed and edited during 2019 in an older version of my editing software. However, I was unhappy with the finished product when I started to release newer sneak peeks earlier this year. As a result, the entire episode got a major overhaul to give you the version you see on-screen today! A comparison video between the 2019 and 2021 version of the episode will be released in the coming weeks.
A special thanks to Thomas The Tank Engine Wikia for their article on the original story - this episode definitely would not have been possible without them. You can read a little bit about the original story here: ttte.fandom.co...
A special thanks to my little brother for helping me film the close-up shots of Thomas and for painting the miniature Sir Topham Hatt figure, which you can find on Tinkercad by the user “Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends.”

A special thanks also to my dad for helping me print and construct the Ffarquhar Sheds.
And last but not least, a special thanks to YOU for watching! Until next time!
