I kinda have a version of this. My Dad would always "sneak" me money when I was going special places or whatever. After my mum would give me the "official" spending money from both of them. It turns out, years later, when I was a teen, I brought it up to Mam and she just smiled and told me "of course I knew, your Dad thinks he can sneak around and he loves it so I pretend not to know" I was talking to Dad later and he said "your mother thinks I don't know she knows but it makes her happy to think she knows something I don't and I promised her I would make her happy when she agreed to marry me so I pretend I don't know" Right up until my mum died, after 56 yrs of marriage, my mum looked at my Dad with stars in her eyes and he spent every second of her life doing his best to keep his promise. I lost him less than 2 yrs after we lost her. I miss them so much every day and I try to be half the parent they each were to me and my sisters and as good a spouse to my husband as they were to each other ❤
@@EdenDoesMakeup13 Trust me, I was the the one who won to have had those two wonderful people as my parents. I was blessed beyond measure to have their love and their teaching and to witness their marriage over my whole life
My dad, sister and I were out for a walk one night, and my dad and I were talking about Casey Jones from TMNT. he was telling a story about Casey's introduction in the comics, and threw his arms out to demonstrate, accidentally punching my sister directly in the face, knocking her glasses off. "OH MY GOD- ARE YOU OKAY?! ..... DON'T TELL YOUR MOM." One of the Funniest things I've ever witnessed XD
Same lmao My mum believes I'm bi and doesn't mind (tho she's not homophobic, she is transphobic) and my dad doesn't know lmao, he's both transphobic and homophobic Also I'm not bi, smth similar to it tho. I just don't wanna confuse her with all this new terminology lmao
My mom and I didn't tell my dad that I was having a laproscopic surgery until the day before. Same thing when i was having surgery to remove a cyst in my wrist. We have a very complicated relationship. Pretty sure he has borderline personality disorder and, despite being less reactive than he used to be, he would try to make my decisions for me despite me being 23 for the first procedure and 30 foe the second. My mom might give advice but respects me as an adult who can make my own decisions.
The very same happens to me , i when to visit my mom and my sister in New York. While I was there ,my sister gave some money and told not tell my mom when we went to the Mall my mom gave some money told me not to tell my sister 😂😂😂😂 sweet.
I would have used up the money saved and a little more to do activities i hadn't planned as well, got something for both my parents and saved the rest. That would have made my parents happy as well and I would have had saved up as op mentioned money was tight
Last year of my Dad's life. My boyfriend and I took him fishing. Dad was mobile and could walk a little but he needed a wheelchair for going out because he had a partial foot amputation due to diabetes. I bought Dad these 2 base ball hats. They were his favorite hats. Well we got him down by the river near a boat landing. This was going to be all night fishing trip. So we had his wheelchair down there set him up with his rod while we went up for the rest of the gear. I get back and he is not in his wheel chair. I look out and he is out in the river chasing his stupid hat. He snagged his hat on a cast into the water. Me and my bf got him back to shore. My bf took him back to van to change his clothing while I had to try find his stupid hat. He was nearly as n tears over that hat. So I told him I would look for it. I found the damn thing about half a mile down river. Snagged in some trees then had to get out in water to get it and walk half mile back. I got there handed him his hat. I was pissed. He risked his life for a hat. He said: But you gave it to me. Made feel like crying. I went up got changed into dry clothes came back started fishing. About 4 hrs in my Dad quietly says: Don't tell your Mother. I told the fishing story at the family gathering after the funeral. My Mom laughed so hard she burst into tears. I felt horrible and she said: No that's a perfect story about your Dad. My Dad drove me crazy. I gave him the hats. But I also bought him a nice winter jacker. Had to go to big and tall shop for it. It was name brand. It cost a few $100. But it was down, water proof but lightweight jacket. He kept that jacket on display. Freezing cold would not wear that coat. When asked why? Did it not fit? His reply: Its the nicest jacket I have ever owned. I don't want it messed up. Dad grew up extremely poor he was in the military before he had all new clothes and shoes. He would make sure his younger siblings had clothing. When he was a boy he and his brothers got second hand coats from a rich family. They went out picking apples to earn money. Someone stole his youngest brother's coat. Dad gave up his coat for his baby brother. Damn near froze to death. After he passed we gave the jacket to my brother. Dad's been gone 24 years almost 25. My brother still wears that jacket every winter. Sorry this is s so long but it brought bunch of memories of him and how special he made me feel.
This happened to my family. My youngest brother was going on a school field trip to Busch Gardens and before he left I gave him $20 to spend on junk food. Unbeknownst to me, so did my mom, my step dad and my sister. That kid had $80 to blow at a theme park and he was only about 9 or 10 years old.
One of my aunts and uncles used to do that with slipping us kids money. She wasn't involved in the household budget so never knew about the checks he'd secretly write us. She had a secret bank account of her own so he never knew about the checks she'd secretly write us. 😂
That happened too me in a different scenario Basically one day my mom was out for the night and my dad said “You can have your iPads until bedtime,But don’t tell Mom” Not long after my dad was out for the night and my mom said “You can have your iPads until Bedtime,But don’t tell Dad” 😂😂both of them still don’t know too this day😂😂
My mom hides the fact that she gives me energy drinks, lets me go out on my skateboard at night, lets me collect knives, and lets me paint in my room (carpeted) 😭
When we were kids my mom always disagreed to get a dog, she was visiting her maternal family and somehow we convinced our Dad to get one. Long story short, my Dad forgot to shut the closet door, dog (Sugar) somehow managed to get into it. Sugar did not touch any of my Dad's things but he got hold of my mom's low hanging clothes and chewed them. When Mom came back after visiting my uncle, there was no sign of a dog entering our house or her dresses 😂😂😂. Whenever the topic of dresses was brought up, my Dad stopped breathing for a second, then he tried to divert her mind with gifts. Dad finally confessed about it before his passing and Mom took out her trump card. She had already noticed dog hair, apparently we cleaned everything except the closet but it was funny to keep bringing up the topic and to get cover up gifts from him🙊🙊
Lol my mom still doesn’t know this, but my step dad, basically my dad, he raised me from very young, had a drinking problem while I was growing up. When I was about 12 he taught me to drive and he’d drive the car away from the house about a block, get in the passenger seat and tell me to drive lol we’d go to the liquor store and by his friends and he’d get WASTED. Then I would drive us home and mom was never the wiser. She caught us one time but we told her he let me drive down the driveway only 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅 Probably not the safest thing, and this was early 2000s in Oakland Ca, it was different times then lol 😂 I’ll take that secret to my grave for my dad, that’s my OG lol I’d never rat him out. We have so many secrets but that’s the funniest one forsure. I always had my dads back, my mom is a bitch and was even worse when he was drinking. Instead of trying to help her man. It was a whole thing. I’ve always been closer to dad than mom tho, since mom already had a favorite child 😂😂😂 and it wasn’t me
My kids parent hid his wedding to our son’s teacher. Then they hid my son’s wedding from me. I was Just told that I have become a grandma. A week ago. I wasn’t allowed to be a part of anything 😢
Eh. When I was starting college we had to move cuz the landlord gamble the house away, step dad had a work place accident & because I was a scholarship kid my mom & I had a system where she pays the books on the first day every semester & I pay her back when the check comes. That time I gave her the money to pay for her own house & was even slipping in extra change when money got tight. Dad hates hearing that because it's immaculating but I did have to bring up it up once or twice when he mentioned I never contribute to the house because my baby face & short stature makes employers turn me away & most of the online work ads are fake to limit people signing up for work in certain places.
Hahah that’s hilarious how’d they not notice hundreds of pounds were missing?! Even if they don’t have a joined account there’s a reason they didn’t want the other to know XD
All 3 put away a couple of dollars here and a few more there for who knows how long. If you put aside the change in your pocket once a week you would be amazed how fast that adds up, especially where I live where we only have $1 and $2 coins, as opposed to paper bills for them.
Sorry , I hit the button by mistake. But, also, as this was a senior class trip, they all knew there would be a trip for years. The parents might have, individually, been putting away this money for years for each of their children for their senior year.
Ok here’s my story. My mom and dad are divorced and I only stay at my moms house. My dads a raging homophobic so got pretty mad when I came out as trans. Anyways, here’s my secrets that my mom know but I won’t tell my dad: I’m omnisexual, gender-fluid, and more queerness. I’m a furry, therian, I do quads, and like to dress as an animal. Oh and my mom has told me what a horrible person he is Oh and that I have a RUclips channel
That's the kind of story I love. Ridiculous wholesome parenting stuff. Not just them being wholesome but op too even helping his friends.
I agree. Two good parents.
I want to be this type of parent ❤

You have what you work at and build
You don’t work up and build good parents man
I love how both parents found it so funny rather than being upset
You are right these stories never get old
Your parents are wonderful!
We need more wholesome stories like this

they actually sound like they love their family so much though :)
Awh I love hearing a wholesome funny story!
That is so cute and sweet both of your parents just wanted the best for you and you wanted the best for them so everybody secretly saved up money😊
Each parent discovered that day that the other parent loved their child more than anything on earth ...its a win situation.
lol this is hilarious
That is a great core memory for all lol😊
It such a great memory thanks for sharing this with us

Great parents and awesome OP to help some classmates out with the extra cash he had.😊
"My family had very little money" and then both parents give them FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS each... BS
I love that good old memories 😂.
Hahaha, that’s cute. 😂
That's so wholesome
One secret I have: my mom knows I’m gay. My dad is homophobic. My dad thinks I’m straight
W ur mom for not judging and keeping it hidden from ur dad 😭
Same except I'm bi💀
Same lmao
My mum believes I'm bi and doesn't mind (tho she's not homophobic, she is transphobic) and my dad doesn't know lmao, he's both transphobic and homophobic
Also I'm not bi, smth similar to it tho. I just don't wanna confuse her with all this new terminology lmao
My dad is also homophobic and my mom isn’t. She knows I’m queer but my dad doesn’t. Neither know I’m genderfluid tho
Based mom ❤ hope it goes well for u
Wholesome ❤
Bro is a double agent 😂
Those parents are 2 things:
1 - Amazing
2 - Made for eachother 😂😂
The only secret I had was a birthday present 💀
Now that's a happy household.

This story is amazing!
But i don't have signle story for this topic.
It was not a secret because you told them in the end❤😂😅

The only thing I hidden from my mom and my dad knows is I used his credit card 10 times waisting it in robux
