Still the Miss Universe winner with the perfect performance during the prelims and finals. Her viral slow mo turn, signature pose and creative themed gowns started a trend. When Catriona’s styling team did a lookbook and teaser pictures of her gowns and the inspiration behind it.. other countries started following. If you notice slit and colored beaded gowns with a theme became the trend. This is the reason why Philippines candidates have been successful for the past 12 years. It’s because they have trends they create which make their candidates unique. The Philippines started the famous reaction video in 2010, after that all pageant countries started doing reaction videos.. the signature walks, and huge fan support are all the reason why Philippines is currently the longest ongoing placement streak in Miss Universe today.
