Best Indian vetiver oils in my opinion
S mohd Ayub is best, second is m l Ramnarayan (its more intense and leathery) . Give Purandas ranchoddas a try- it’s a crowd pleasure and best for beginners.
Forrest essential has veriver intense (alcoholic perfume) which is good but doesn’t last.
Ruh khus is awesome in summers.

No doubt ruh khus is the most complex ... to me it is a light and dark profile at the same time. Need to be very careful so that you don't over apply.
As you rightly said, it is great for layering. Not just with attar but also with spray perfumes.
Loving the flood of videos! Ruh Khus is a bit challenging for me but I absolutely love vetiver.

Great comparison - hoping for more comparison videos like Rose and Sandalwood. The best combination of Javanese Vetiver and Oud is Agar Aura's Java - one of my top 5 from Agar Aura. I also feel that Ruh Khus has a sticky profile that overtakes any composition, even if used alone, like Forest Essentials Vetiver Cologne Intense.
Try using a little bit of dried Vetiver roots when making chai in summers - absolute divine!! :-)
Hello sir... Mjhe bhi khus bht pasand hai..weirdly mjhe ye summer k alawa winters me bhi kafi soothing lagta hai.... Its really great to layer also... Zda sweet attar k sath tda dark lagega n mithas kam krega... Kisi dark attar k sath layer krne pe sweet lagega... N meri mother isko wo ek kasturi k naam pe silver dibbi ati h na market me... Uske sath layer krti h.. Really awsome material...

I have done vetiver cultivation and had produced approx 16kg of oil, indian vetiver cannot be generalised there are around 7 varieties present developed by CIMAP institute.
Some variety contain rose and saffron notes also .

I was not aware that vetiver has 3 variations coming from 3 different regions of the world. Very interesting to learn it today. Shall surely try the artisanal Ruh Khus from reputed Indian houses. Nikhil bhai can you tell me if Ruh khus can be layered with any of those French style perfumes.

Every allergy is unique. Try different materials in little amounts and see which ones you don't react badly to - wear those perfumes/oils only. Avoid alcohol sprays whenever you can. Stick to balms, oils and rollons.

Kacha chaba jayega , this is a very true statement ,
I have the same rhu khas from ML Ramnarayan and is really mature for over three to four years since I got it , and after one hour of applying this rhu khus, I had layered it with the RAW INDIAN OUD FROM ZAKIR BHAI ,named KANGELI, which is a real Bomb 💣 of Indian oud with barnyard smell ,
Initially form two to three hours I could smell the Indian oud , but after say 4 to 5 hours , only thing left on my skin was rhu khas , that’s what , kacha chaba gaya rhu khus sab oud aur itr ko .

Sir I am from alibag mai kal hi khus lene Gaya tha ajmal store in Hyderabad tolichoki rooh khus lagaya taste Kiya kaafi der hold karke bhi khushboo dekha par mujhe pasand nahi aya kya pata kyu hua aise mujhe khus ki khushboo zyada soil jaisi lagi mujhe personally pasand nahi aya aise kyu kya aap bata sakte ho mujhe shayad alag expectations they khus se aur meri expectations match nahi Hui isliye disappointed feel hua I have tried many vetiver perfume and deo before also
