Out of the generation of young 'uns coming out in the '90's, Moses Khumalo was most definitely the baddest beast on the sax. They were so good together, their performances were sheer magic, they way they fed off each other giving memorable performances. Thanks for the music and the memories. More thanks to MELT for keeping their spirits alive!
When Moses passed, it was one of the saddest times in my life. The grief was so intense I was helped by emigrating. The follow up tragedy of Moss Mtungwa led me to rediscover my African spirituality.
Wow! It's the first time I see this. Mtungwa rest in peace. How much we miss you, Moses...to see you sitting there, talking. Hearing your voice. First live show I ever saw with Moses...Magic. Miss and Love this son of the soil. Baddest beast on the sax for sure. oh how we've lost!
