Sounds like his dad. Not the same, but resembling him and it puts an edge back to the music thats been frozen in time for 28 years. Was amazing to hear and was amazing to hear so many other bands like Pepper saying they couldn't wait to see Sublime "for the first time". Pretty clear that a lot of people share the opinion that with all due respect for Rome, this is the way it should sound.
Me and my wife stayed for pepper to the end. Absolutely killed. But then we heard garden grove and just dead sprinted for it. We made it for the end of it atleast. Worth it.
saw them in Orlando, the happiness i have for Bud and Eric getting another chance to be Sublime again after all these years is indescribable... Also I am super impressed with Jakob's commitment to get better and better every time they play makes it that much better... really digging watching him find his voice and his place in these songs and in the band... he absolutely cooked this track, so Sublime yet so much of himself coming out at the same time... really enjoying this time in music, awesome to see their set list expanding too, 10 of out 10
Such an amazing moment. What you can't really see though, off to the left was Bud and Eric just letting him have his moment solo on stage for a few songs, and them just looking on like a couple proud ass uncles
One of my favorite moments of the weekend for sure! And it was by some divine intervention that my phone allowed me to capture it because it had about 2% battery left! So happy to have this memory saved and to share it with others! ❤
I was disappointed.. I’m not going lie vocal/ guitar/ pitch all out of whack. I was really excited to see them. All the other bands sounded very professional good engineers.. can’t say the same for Sublime..
