- We want to share with you the full, long version of building a cabin in the woods. This was the first shelter I ever built. It had everything I needed: a stove, a place to sleep, a table, and even a window. Enjoy watching it!

You should collect Stone and put under your stove and around the back and sides that way they collect heat and put it off when the stove get too low
Today I learned that when Agent 47 needs to take a holiday he goes into the woods and builds an impressive cabin. Amazing work.

Get one of those pine trees on the ground in the middle of it it has rich pine to start a fire when the pine tree is dead that is where it is in the middle try it

Yep, I would put a tarp outside walls, to cover walls, to keep water out !!! Other than that, OK=)

I love all these bushcraft videos, but it kinds defeats the whole purpose of 'BushCraft' if your hauling in food and other "essentials" from the city or grocery store. Hunting, fishing, trapping, foraging for food would be more inline with the skills and practice. I've yet to find a way to trap a 80/20 ground beef patty, or chicken cutlet(s) in the woods, and the elusive hamburger bun hiding in the underbrush has also been a tough skill to master.
