On the turnaround you can quote "Popeye the Sailor" like Ella did. ;-) Or "Cool Blues".

Thank you; but the E7 chord is NOT a natural 9. It is obviously a functional dominant resolving up a fourth and it ideally has the implied alterations of b9 and b6. That is why the harmonic minor works beatifully on it. The natural 9 sounds very forced, if not "unnatural".

Some good stuff in there but everything sounds too choppy. It would sound better more legato with focus on articulation.
