But he chose to make it more complicated for his viewers. A lot of widely used programming tools and software development tools have ARM64 support - .NET/ C#, Java, Go, Kotlin, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Jetbrain tools, Rust tools etc

You should look into the newest gen of intel laptops that are going to come out soon. They use traditional x64 architecture and claim to have a very good battery life, even better than the current m3. Hopefully intel hasn’t lied we know they have jn the last.

This should be a no-brainer. I don't understand why you can't have a process running the Android system on these machines. No virtualization, just a container. After all, the processor is very similar to the CPU of most Android phones.
So given the hoops involved it seems to me that we are further establishing that for developers to cover all platforms all you need is an M-Seeries MacBook + any x86 device that can be used to compile x86 code. It seems like no one is doing Qualcomm any favors. Window ARM is still mostly junk and 2 Month's in Google still isn't supporting them properly. I really hope this changes, because we need better competition.
Until the Windows ARM market share is low, developers won't work for it.. just remember all the works they did for Windows Phone (that one also died because of low app support.. the first social network apps required 3 years to build.. but that time the platform was deserted, everyone keaved and bought a phone where he can download apps from the store..)

Sure, here's the revised text: Yes, it's a beta product and not suitable for people running their businesses. Hopefully, Snapdragon X2-Elite next year will be able to cover all bases. It's just not worth the hassle at the moment. It is great for light users who only need office apps and web browsing. With the new AMD out and Lunar Lake coming next week, there are certainly some great choices coming soon.
Thanks a million man. I got a new surface and almost lost hope then I found your awesome video

We need those new Lunar Lake laptops ASAP.
Instead of waiting for entire developers world to port their programs/drivers to windows arm
This animation becomes wild! 😍
Please post a comparison of Android studio build performance. Would love to see the comparison between the M series and X Elite.
It's running in emulation. Won't be good for comparison just yet. Google has to release for ARM. Google Drive is due this year. Hopefully others.
in intelliJ, elite x better than m2 macbook air , but it has some problems when you develop frontend.
the rendering problem is not fixed yet
I have no Idea what you are doing but I enjoy watching your videos.
Lol I literally was dreaming about this last night and now your video pops up. Wild
ok, what's my next video?
@AZisk how to setup these machines for school
If you don’t care about the emulator you can just install intelij (which has arm version) and plugins and code there.
but Design rendering such as preview compose and xml is not possible.
Google Project IDX has android studio in beta and it's in the beta!

This will work. Cheers!
wow that keyboard looks cool

Alex, when review of the new lunar lake chip laptop? Especially from dev point of view.
There’s a new alternative to nvm called fnm(fast node manager) and it has a native windows version
I wouldn't touch JavaScript with a 10-foot pole, especially for anything other than websites. Even if you want cross-platform apps I think there are native solutions.
The irony is that a Snapdragon PC is not suited to emulate a Snapdragon mobile device 😂
Ikr? 😂
Please do review on intel lunar lake laptop for android developer 🙏
OBS Studio recording performance using inbuilt encoder especially AV1. Please make a video on this. Thank you.
Try flutter on x elite machine
How about kotlin compose and flutter
Would like to see Kotlin development plus a full build using the android studio ide not like typescript which will probably be edited in vs code
Great🎉thanks
Can you get some lunar lake intel cpus to test and review
yes
Nice 👍
is it this simple for flutter as well?
Also wanting to know this!
What about battery backup on android development?
Does it heat? what's the cpu temperature?
Could have you just use Visual Studio with a USB?
You will take this Dell laptop with external keyboard and mouse on trip?
What about building a .NET MAUI using VS 2022 on this machine?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hey how was the performance? Did It lag many times?
What's up man! Have you tried flutter on this?
