Wish Falernum was available in the barrens of Connecticut, sigh. Off topic but useful tidbit: whenever y'all need to do a colonoscopy prep, your Fiery Ginger syrup actually makes the Suprep tolerable to drink, a task that many thought was nigh impossible. Tell your 45 and older friends! 🙂
Great video! I'm a big fan of the Saturn cocktail with your Passion Fruit syrup! I only have the Velvet Falernum, so I'll have to try finding a bottle of the Lucky Falernum! Thanks...
That would definitely boost the flavor, good thinking! Your comment inspired Adam to test another hack, making your own falernum with 2 oz white rum, 2 oz water, ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup, ¼ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup, ¼ oz fresh lime juice, 6-8 dashes Angostura bitters. It was quite good!!
I am so interested in the California and Lucky Falernum! I can imagine the strengths described from these Falernum products doing really well in a number of amazing cocktails! Complex and amazing flavour profiles!! I can't wait to try and find these Falernum variations and I'd totally be in to a trip to Washington State and California to get these products!! Exciting!! Cheers!! 🙂
They really are so unique and fun to use! You can make a lot of delicious cocktails with them, especially if you're into tropical flavors. We hope they get wider distribution and are easier to find. Cheers, Christine!
Hello Liber & Co. Very interesting video. Personally, I make my homemade falernum because I find the liqueurs often too sweet. The list of different ingredients used gave me ideas for my next achievements. Otherwise in France we can have The Bitter Truth, Velvet and others from independent bottlers but I admit I have never bought any. Well done 🍸
@@philgringo2438 I dont use nothing that is fixed I make my own syrops and liquers for everything ... Because I can adjust the ration of sweetnes as I like ... The other day one bartender has told me on a bar that velvet falernaum is very good,I say to him Im sorry but I disagree I ask him to taste it with me ,we change our opinions then I asked him if he has ever make hes own falernaum he told me not .then he learned that I was the bar manager on the bar he was working
the original has softer juniper, spice, and a more floral taste. The nose of Sapphire East is full of lemon, juniper, and black pepper with some floral undertones~
@@liberandcoand yeah, all over that video. Thanks for the reply and not least - when will you be in Sweden? However much I love doing stuff myself, so many that like the results don't dare/bother to even try and I'd really love to recommend a proper brand!

That's a great tidbit, it's not everyday we hear of a use like that! Hope you're recovering well!!
Great video guys! Very interested in trying some of these, the California one in particular sounds really good. Cheers!
Thank you! Yes, it's always fun to try a classic ingredient from a new/small manufacturer. We wish they were more widely available!
I am here because I had this for the very first time in the black spire brew at Disney world and I am now obsessed with it.
Falernum is such a wonderful liqueur! Definitely deserves a spot on your home bar.

Thank you!! Let us know if you find any other falernums in your local market.
Love these videos, cheers gents. Might have to order a bottle of the lucky falernum!
Awesome, thank you, glad you enjoy them! The Lucky is quite good 👍️
This was great! Big fan of your syrups but just found the channel
Thanks so much, we appreciate it!
Great video. We are starting to make our own tiki drinks at home and this is a great guide
Thank you, and best of luck on your tiki journey!
Made your Saturn recipe for my guests it was a huge hit!
It's a wonderful cocktail! Glad your guests enjoyed it.
Here for it!!
Oh yeeaahh!!
So if one purchased Velvet Falernum, would it help the cocktails if you added the Liber fiery ginger syrup?

Hi Phil, thank you so much for the kind words. Agree that some of the falernum liqueurs are quite sweet. Very cool you have your own homemade version!
They are very bad ,the spicy flavor are very light and the sweet flavor is very high ...
They are totally wrong
@@georgesaraskeris3447 I think it's better to do it yourself

What is the main diffrence between the bombay dry gin and the East bombay dry gin?

Would yall make a Falernum syrup or your own Falernum liqueur? I’ve seen Fee Brothers have made their own syrup.
16-18 USD for Velvet Felernum? Sadly 3 times that in Sweden! Ooof.
yikes! We actually have a video on how to DIY a falernum at home!
