I was so excited to see a new upload from you!! The Queen of Fourteenth Street has definitely intrigued me. Edit: ALSO, as a self-published author who knows their book is better than a lot of the stuff being published by the big 5, it hurts my soul T_T lol Edit 2: Anyone who has read Song of Achilles know that Patroclus was not Achilles friend iykwim
Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re intrigued and definitely recommend the audio. Gosh, I can only imagine being a self-published author and seeing the state of publishing, no doubt it does hurt the soul. Best of luck with your writing!
What was your favorite book you’ve read recently? Have you read any of the books in this wrap up? What were your thoughts? I’d love to know! ☺
You are so well spoken! You have a gift for sure! 📚
This is so kind, thank you very much! ☺️
I love the variety of your choices! I’ve never read the Iliad but you made me actually want to for the first time 🙌
I’m so glad I could do that for you! It’s why I’m here 😄. Thank you very much!
If you haven't read summerwater by Sarah Moss I'd recommend it! I'll be checking out ghost Wall for sure!

My fave book this summer was Human Acts by Han Kang! I had to check out her work after she won the Nobel, and can now say I understand why she won.
That’s great to hear! I haven’t read any Kang yet and wasn’t sure if I should start with Human Acts or The Vegetarian. Human Acts noted! 😄
