- Roger Hajali takes me to the Anaheim Hills in sunny Southern California for some very challenging off-road trails.
Roger also has his POV of this ride. You can check it out on his channel:

You are quite a rider if you ride with Rog Haj!!
RESPECT
Thanks for sharing brother!!🙏
Thanks Donovan! ♥️ Hoping to get more riding in with him in the near future. It's a blast riding with Roger. Want to start pumping out more of these videos. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You did great Aaron 🤙🏼🔥
Thanks Jorge! ♥️
Beautiful hills and trails in a very rugged sort of way. At 68, I live the ride vicariously through your excellent camera work. Thanks for sharing.
What a wonderful comment! Thanks Brock! A large part of why I post content is for people to feel included in the rides, almost like they're riding with me. Thanks for watching.
I live near those trails. Nice to see this from a different perspective. Looks like you had a lot of fun
Was a lot of fun. Very challenging. Glad you enjoyed the different perspective. I will be doing another video from there soon, so look out for that. Maybe we'll ride with you there. 😎
very nice
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Watching this I wish I could be 30 again, my younger self would have loved to ride the trails and hills. Excellent riding Both of you.
Thank you very much! Roger is 45 and still performing well. Maybe you could still pull it off. 😉
I never see any mud in any of the west coast trail videos. Looks like so much fun!
It is so much fun!
At least in Southern California with the overall lack of rain it seems the trails stay fairly mud-free.
However, we did come up on an unexpected mud patch. Got a little messy. Lol. Maybe I'll post a little from that ride.
Thanks for your comment!
I love it!!!! This is the coolest off road video! Cheers from Palm Springs!
Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoy it! Hope to make more exciting videos like this very soon. Cheers from Anaheim, CA!
The camera just doesn’t do justice at how crazy that place is. Nice meeting you at AVS and again at Roger’s shop
Nice meeting you too, Chris! Look forward to riding with you. I gotta find a way to really show how intense these trails actually are.
Omg beautiful guys thank you!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! It is so beautiful there. 🙂
looks like I will be heading there soon. Thanks for ideas of where to ride
I hope you enjoy riding in the area! Thanks for commenting.
You guys are total badass
Thanks 😁
@@BalancedAdventure when I grow up can I be just like you?
Nice riding bud! First time is so hard when riding with a guy who’s done it 50 times. 👊💪
Thanks 😁 and seriously! He makes it look like a breeze. Great rider.
It’s funny your wheel is silent and then you can tell when Rodger is nearby by the Begode suspension rattle. Great trails and riders
Thanks Scott! That quality Leaperkim (FastAce)suspension! Haha!
Roger truly is a mad man😂
He really is! I think he might have superpowers. 🤷🏻♂️
This is Santiago Oaks in Orange, CA. Really popular MTB destination.
Great video , I think I met you guys at sycamore canyon a year ago , very cool
Thanks! That's possible. Maybe we'll meet you there in the future. 🙂
fastest guy east of the Mississippi.
Thanks Roger. 😁
and west
I promise I didn't pay him to say that. 😉@@jacobevans18
Aaron from Argentina. I was wondering if you had a channel. I look forward to hearing what you have to say since I see that you are a smooth performer on the wheel. Roger would be as cool as you if he didn't talk so much; but if you are staying with him for free, I wouldn't bring that up. Nice camera setting, that was excellent videoing. Finally, someone that can follow Roger and I can actually watch his style.....I'm usually too busy saving my life.
Haha! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully in the near future I'll have more content following Roger for you to watch. Lol!
I'm so jealous up here in wa the grounds so saturated with water half the time you're riding in 3inches of mud. Luckily there's always logging road
Haven't ridden up there yet. That's what I expected from WA. Hopefully in the summer the ground will start to dry out. Come down to SoCal later this year for our tour ride.

Those trails look so fun!!
Law!!! They're so much fun! I can't wait for you to get back from India so we can ride together! Maybe do these Anaheim Hills together with Roger. 😁
@@BalancedAdventure yes please!
53:50 had me saying nice as well - good job man! Nothing like having someone push you just a little harder to improve your skills :)
😁 Thanks! I agree. Roger is great at pushing me out of my comfort zone. It's scary but greatly appreciated! Just from that ride alone my skills improved.
Thanks for watching and commenting. 🙂
GREETINGS FROM RUSSIA, FRIENDS! WELL, YOU ARE EXTREME!!!!
Thanks! Greetings from USA! Roger is especially extreme on his Begode Extreme! 😂
I SIGNED UP FOR ROGER@@BalancedAdventure

The wheel : youre going down the hard path
You : I really dont want to
The wheel : dont care we are going
You : uh uh uh oooh no please!!
XD
😂😂😂 Wherever the wheels goes, I shall go. Thanks for watching and commenting!
cool, it’s like I’m skating myself
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Well that’s got difficult quick!
It really did! Very challenging, but all the more rewarding when done successfully. Thanks for the comment, Rubin! ♥️
The fun starts at 39:25 ... the big rock drops ...
You aren't wrong! Gotta ride with you on these hills sometime, Chris.
Where is this Clip located??
In the Anaheim Hills, in Anaheim, California, USA. Thanks for commenting!
what does it mean? or what did he mean by "petal flipped"
Hi Kevin!
I assume you're referring to when I fell at 1:07:14? If so, I was saying "pedal clipped". I believe I crashed because my pedal hit(clipped) a tree root.
Thanks for commenting 😊
Great video! What mic are you using? Sounds great!
Thanks, StaggsCrossing! In this particular video I'm using the built-in microphone on my action camera, DJI Osmo Action 4. I was using it without any sort of wind-muff. It sounded crispy, but let in too much wind noise. So, I used some "noise reduction" in my video editor. Glad you liked it!
🔥🔥
Thanks Jordon!
what trail is this????
The trails at Anaheim Hills, in Anaheim, California. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Santiago Oaks in Orange, CA
Absolutely epic.
You're not a pussy.
Also you didn't really sit down and rest your brain for a couple of minutes at the rest stops, to help you reset after all those "near death experiences" which we call fun. 😮
Thanks Stefan!
I said it more as a joke between friends( wasn't originally going to post those parts). I am not as fearless as Roger.
Definitely was intense and scary but still very enjoyable. Looking forward to tackling these trails with less fear in the near future!
what helmet is roger wearing?
Fox Proframe MTB, I believe.
What wheels are yall on ?
Roger is on a Begode Extreme with an upgraded shock(and linkage???)and I'm on a Leaperkim Veteran Sherman S 62lb spring.
Do they have trails like this in Greece? 😂
I see you've seen Roger's video! 🤣 I haven't been to Greece yet, but somehow I figure they just might have some trails like this there. 😀
@@BalancedAdventure 🤣 we rode together with Roger at the Fullerton Loop. OMG lmao. I'm Henry
Lmao! I was like, idk a Hank but I do know a Henry! Lmao!
Rather boring in most places and could use some serious editing! Best of luck!
I appreciate the constructive criticism. I'm working on getting better with trimming down the not-so-entertaining parts of my rides to make sure most people are enjoying watching. 🙂 I hope in subsequent videos I can provide a more engaging and less boring experience for viewers. Hope to see you back here. 🙂
wtf is this??? too lazy to hike or bike I see...
😂 Hiking and biking is fun too! Electric unicycles are a fun challenge and allow you to ride longer without getting too tired. Thanks for commenting.
