I met Dave Wakefield at his pit during the 2022 NHRA NW Nationals at Pacific Raceways. I mentioned about seeing him in this Pinks episode. The guy is amazingly cool and friendly. A very humble man who loves being at the track... he certainly deserved that win. 👍👍
An old fabled trick when you have an engine/starter doing that. Pull the tensioner pulley just enough to where the belt loses tension. Crank the starter and let the tensioner literally pop back tight as soon as the starter engages. 9 times out of 10 it should start.😎👍 FYI DO NOT ATTEMPT WITH AN INTERFERENCE ENGINE!😬 Or maybe just try starting fluid 🤣
I love this track for 3 reasons but hate it for 2 reasons: It's prepped like there's no tomorrow It's in the woods, which gives it some nice scenery It's still a 1/4 mile track. I hate it because: It's on the west side of Washington, where all the morons are at It has curfews caused by people who built their houses after the track was built.

This is one of the episodes I remember watching with my dad years ago.
I really miss this show it was my favorite racing show on tv
Cool to see Dallas Glenn in his early years - racing the stock eliminator Corvette back then - now in NHRA Pro Stock.
Yeah. His family are pretty cool. They used to race with us down at a track that we don't race at anymore because the manager is a complete jackass.
Why does the show not come back? This is one of the best shows ever
Love the channel thanks for all the videos
At the 30 minute mark, you can tell the top bills shut off, shoulda been a jump
Hearing the starter go "all out" "is it the battery?" Bruh..
👍
