I think that it's really impressive how this show managed to successfully mimic all of the classic shows of their respective eras. They even got Dick Van Dyke on board as a sitcom consultant, and Julie Bowen adored the "Modern Family" parody! ♥️
As all the sitcom episodes were heavily inspired by other famous sitcoms, this particular mockumentary-style episode of WandaVision was modeled after Modern Family (and the aforementioned Halloween episode was based on Malcolm in the Middle). So yes, Elizabeth Olsen was 100% channeling Julie Bowen in it (and it’s something Bowen definitely took notice of). She was amazing

Another pop culture reference that everyone seems to be missing: episodes 2 & 3 the dining room is nearly a 1 to 1 lift from the Bewitched dining room. Complete with the fresco painted on the wall off to the left. The shutters across the breakfast bar and the matching dining room table and chairs.

Elizabeth Olsen deserves an Emmy for her work on this show and sadly due to the way the awards are voted on has almost no chance of getting one. It is hard to fit the show into either comedy or drama and the votes are based on one specific episode the actors (and their teams) chose to submit with. You really can't appreciate how wonderful her work is based off of just one episode.
