I once did a trip from Turku, Finland to Catania, Italy with minimal ferry use (only ferry I used was to get onto Sicily), and that took 5,765 km of driving to complete. Definitely one of my favorite trips I've ever taken.
This game is so well worked, and have so many routes to take and so many landscapes to contemplate... That I feel obligated to download a car mod for free run across these maps.

Nice clean driving! I play ETS2 once a week to chill out. I usually do one longer haul (about 1,5h) or two/three short runs. I also love cruising around in modded cars to discover new routes and locations.

I've never played this but I'm getting a wheel this weekend for F1. I was curious and threw on my local radio station and panned it slightly forward and to the right while I watched. It was incredibly immersive just watching this, now I HAVE to play it!

@@maszmeisterid1332 no not handbrake. in the gameplay settings, there is one option called as breaking intensity which he has set it to high. if it was handbrake the lever near the steering wheel would have moved and a warning would come on the display pannel.

my longest route was 3700km. man oh man. I think I was on the road for a total of 63 hours. the tour then went from southern spain to lithuania. when you arrive safe and sound at the customer and park the trailer perfectly. Wow!
SCS should add some more traffic. Of course, it can be done by using a mod. However, built-in heavy traffic would have been great. I also wish for built-in snowfall in the simulator. Great driving and selection of route !!!
I was driving yesterday from north norway down to Isreal on ProMods. That was also a hell of a ride through so many landscapes and countries. About 4300km... seaways included it was something around 5800...oO
@@pizinb Get a cheap Iveco or MAN truck for startup. Then slowly build your company with cheap trucks and set your workers preferred policy to long distance. After a while the money will start coming and you can slowly start upgrading to the real deal trucks, aka volvo and scania.
What an incredible journey...the ground distance is 4489.2 km in real life taking 49 hrs when you drive via A10. A train would take 63 hrs to cover the same while walking takes a whopping 846 hrs!!! Whoever can decide to trek that stretch is the perfect definition of insanity pro max 😮😮😂😂😂😂
Simulator is great thing Ets and Ats can give you experience of truckers that every day experience themselves driving on highways for days even weeks and seeing places Car city driving can give experience of simply driving in city and also teach you some basic training of driving in traffic you didn't know before Snowrunner can give experience of people that not only driving on difficult terrain but actually work Taking shortcuts on offroad Knowing how to drive truck and no to sink in mud And basically telling that speed not always matter

I do this all the time. I'm running a realistic economy, so I need to max my income. I start in Russia running Yachts and Helocopters (light high profit), fill up my DAF XF, drive to Tallinn, Ferry to Helsinki then Travelmonde. Drive to Rotterdam, ferry to Felixstowe, drive to Plymouth, ferry to Bilbao, then drive to southern Spain/Portugal, pick up a new helicopter/yacht. I can usually get back to Russia on one tank of fuel. I'm using the Ferries for rest stops, so I'm travelling almost all the time.
Well i once had a haul: Cairo - Bergen... Instead of using the ferry... i decided to get my Peterbilt 379 all the way trough the TSM Map via Spain and France... That was a really nice haul 8200km.
It's interesting because, that trip for 180k cash for delivery, means that the journey costs 9 times the price they can sell the olive oil for, and that's not taking into considering the weight of the trailer.... 17x4300 (USD per ton) xD not the best load to go that far!
The man is worth over 2 BILLION and is still humble enough to drive his own truck!!! BOSS!!!

I did a over 10 000km long trip from Faro (Portugal) to Reykjavik (Iceland) and return, took me a week irl. 4500km is a joyride 🥰
