  • From the forgotten archives of Dakman Productions
Although Dakman Productions focuses on model trains I do attend truck shows from time to time since I have worked in the world of trucking for many years. Dakman also likes antique big trucks & Fire Trucks.
In this forgotten video from 2017 watch fire trucks exit a antique truck show with sirens blaring and lights blazing. A great fire truck show finale.

the Mack CF at 3:50 has to be earlier than 1971 with the older grill...

Ford C models, reminds me of the 1970s when i was a kid...my uncle hired on with Carol Stream IL. in 1968...in 1969 he went to winfield IL. running CF macks....alot of those CFs were retired in the late 1990s, the last one in 2004....they only had 20,000 to 30,000 miles on them...they now work in small indiana towns...
as for the B model mack fire truck.......I never saw it, but Aurora IL used own from 1956 till 1997...this town was a tad far from me so trying to catch it was hard...

I worked on Ford C series fire trucks. One of them had a 525 Ford gas engine in it. What a beast lol

between 5:18-5:20, do you know what type of truck this is?

Yes it was made by a company called Young Crusader. If you are familiar with school buses in the 80's it should look familiar. Young Crusader was a division of Carpenter School bus bodies. So the front design is much like a 80's Carpenter school bus
