So i have a pretty funny story here, 1 day before the changes, i upgraded my crystals and killed my friend (my gear 334 awk sorc, 892 tottal ap, my friend suc berserker he had 720 dp) i could kill him with 1 combo (not always as his resistance where killing me in rl from the inside) now after the update only thing i can do with my gear is litteraly dmg him 1.5k from 9.2k.... with "e" buff 1.8k ^-^ (btw he is almost one shoting me as i have 0 def) I feel like being full glass cannon nowdays its not the same as it was long time ago its now just a glass without the cannon u do like 0 dmg while u can be one shottet... I was fully ready to skip my eva build and go back to full ap as i though they would kill eva but i guess i am gonna stay in eva bcs with only 1250 eva i live as if i had before 1450 I can now kill with my eva build other classes like dk, kuna etc if they are full ap or accu, but they 90% of the time cant kill me with 1 combo, so yeah very balanced as always 😂😂😂
@@mariamkjm7349 yeah unfortunately the tanky classes still do extremely solid damage while the glass cannon classes are very squishy and not even outputting an insane amount of damage
For a long time i stuck with sorc because no matter the nerfs and meta changes PA threw at us, the class was still fun to play. But these recent changes have outdone everything up to this point, I feel it exacerbated the meta classes even more and widened the gear gap issues while rewarding low skill classes and punishing high risk-high reward ones. The frustration has outgrown the fun for me. I fear the time has come for me to retire my trusty scythe for good. It was an honor, fellow emo edgelord femboys.
Facts man. Main awak ninja here since 2019, the struggle is wild; any new class moves faster, trades SA better, tanks more and hits harder. We can just pray for BDO to be fun again, at some point, maybe... cheers
It’s a quite hard time for playing bdo and specially sorc I’ve been playing succ the last few months and i do really enjoy it, but not as much i use to enjoy awk The nw system is tragic and guild league is out, wich leaves us with only AoS to enjoy some pvp, enjoy if u play fotm classes obviously Succ on solare is good sometimes, but when u start to climb, suddenly the class becomes trash… just tired of trying and get fcked by a succ nova, zerk, striker etc etc I think it’s time to take some time far from this game or just play another class while we wait for mobility buffs Ty for the vid, always nice to hear your opinion
I'd personally drop her rating for awake to A- and succ to A, but I'm also only 750 PVP AP so I'm sure that has something to do with it. That being said, her movement needs some help and I think that alone could warrant a decrease in rating.
@@ConGie I thought about those ratings as well or even B+ for awakening. I'm playing with about 860 pvp ap atm and that feels quite nice. It's hard to give tier list ratings cause everyone has their own rankings. I thought of Awk Sorc as A+ before patch so I just knocked it down some since it got slightly weaker. Movement definitely sucks but honestly I only really notice the terrible movement in AoS
I been seeing a lot of end game succession sorcs running the 3 debo as in 2 ring 1 earring and then pen dawn and pen turos with pen lunar… with all these changes is stacking 1100+ accuracy still going to melt pretty much anyone with the way dr/evasion is calculated? Or should everyone just start doing the cookie cutter build all debos?
I think there are a lot of great dueling classes so it's hard to name them all. Awk hash, awk drak, awk tamer, awk ninja, awk ranger all come to mind but I'm sure I'm missing some
Sorc definitely still has a place but you need serious gear to really do well now. Its rough right now. Hopefully the new weapons will even things out again.
I'm hoping for the best with Sovereign, but honestly I just have a feeling it will only buff the tanky classes while the DPS classes will just fall behind even more :/
I would say Awk Sorc is one of the weaker meta DPS classes at the moment, lower damage and mobility compared to woosa, but more CC potential. Still a large threat to most classes that arent 650+ DR
@@NotRaven- I wouldn't count on sorc buffs but I can see damage getting better MAYBE with sovereign weapons. But you can also select defensive stats from those weapons so who knows really
I know the succession add-ons you posted are the ones in the sorc discord Do you think it's worth charging anything on them? I feel like there's a lot of crit rate on the add-ons
Yeah that’s kinda the issue. In this current state awa sorc is i would say B+ in over all PvP. The class really did fall off and you need gear big time + skill to make something good out of awa sorc. Problem is while I like the succ design I feehl like something is missing when I play it so i really don’t like it too much for myself. I’m doomed to stay in Sorc as this is the only class that made fun and i don’t see learning a new class for non existent PvP content……
That's the main gripe I have with Awk Sorc right now. It *can* be decent but you have to be top of your class to really make it just good but not exactly great, where I feel like most meta classes right now are very low effort that perform significantly better. Not just a Sorc issue either, lot of classes require so much skill and effort but just are straight up bad in the meta :/
@@eyesack the DR patch was absolutely terrible not only did it absolutely scuff PvP it just made already good classes just stronger and also it made gear progression now to one choice only and that’s Debo most or nearly all classes have 0 customization anymore. Everyone is now dps. Also Debo grind sucks big time. The really managed to bring the game into the worst state possible. Without complaining I think bdo was never down that bad as it is nowadays. Lifeskills … dead, PvP dead, sandbox dead, red karma dead, roleplay dead, class identity dead, guild identity dead….. ALLL FOR THE PVE NPC PLAYERS let’s destroy the game more lol
