I don’t think ball will be meta but he’s definitely a viable dive tank now, he’s just as good as Dva, doom, and Winston, maybe better.
hes a lot better if you have the slightest clue what you are doing and got decent mechanics, in low elo at least, and everyone can hide until they have their cooldowns and then slam the backline
For gm he will absolutely be the best tank. All the one tricks will go on tears with him
Ball seems really strong right now. Doom feels a little bit stronger than he used to be too. I think ball is still overall stronger than Doom rn.

I've always loved playing Ball and I'm glad to see he's gotten a nice buff. I'm trying to improve my skills, learning rollouts and techs but some of the techs (even the seemingly simple ones like the wall jump and double boop) have just eluded me thus far. Like...I know the concept of how to execute them but maybe my hand-eye coordination just isn't good enough.
As soon as I saw the updates for ball I instantly thought of how you were gonna destroy even harder👏

I really want to learn how to play Ball more efficiently. He is so fun to play.
I REALLY hope a bunch of smoothbrains don't get ball nerfed. He's not op, he has like three hard counters in every role. Plus, you cant tell me that ball is more annoying than doom, orisa, hog or zarya.
He still needs a damage buff, Imo. These buffs weren't enough.
i’m already calling he’s getting nerfed sadly once someone like flats says he’s op everyone just hops on the bandwagon resulting in a nerf. ppl are already complaining about the minefield buff but as seen in this video u still barely get kills with it and the kills you do get with aren’t because of the buff

The buffs arnt huge. They're mid at best.
With the recent mercy change, it is damn near impossible to kill through a pocket unless your point blank hitting all headshots. Ball is still heavily lacking damage output with his primary.

5:01 i think bap's lamp made sojourn break los after she got booped, resulting in an almost instant double boop. I doubt that was on purpose but still cool nonetheless
That is a good guess on what happen but if u go replay she was moving back and forth in a zigzag to increase the amount of time between each boop same effect as slowing down except u don't lose super speed. Whether it was on purpose to boop him like that I have no idea but the zigzagging is a way to get double boops off
@@Backlash00z89 from what ive seen, strafe boops like that take a wider arc but i could be wrong. maybe it was just because the sojourn slid back into the fireball after getting hit idk
I think ball is exactly where he should be now which is an unconventional but still useful pick. Ball being too meta would fuck up game balance but it’s nice to see him be a viable and deadly option for players who can master him

They nerf doom just for them to make ball even stronger than mega doom could ever dream of. I’m happy for ball players tho Ik you guys are having a fucking FIELD DAY rn.
Any tips for Low rank Ball? (I know how to play him, I just really would use some tips against like how to deal with Mercy pocketed Widow, or anyone pocketed by mercy)
simply focus the mercy. If the mercy dies they will die 100% of the time.
Don't focus on mercy. Or supports. Go to health packs for heals as you are much faster than supports and are always moving around especially with mercy's GA nerf. I'm not saying to not rely on supports but if they can't get to you in time then focus on health packs.

Balls buffs are good but not nearly as good as those doom buffs, they didn’t even touch his damage.
