Film that nobody expected anything, ended up rejuvenating entire genre and at the same time creating entire new arch types, iconic music and scenes. Truly one of the best westerns. Entire Dollars trilogy is amazing.

I saw this at the drive-in in 1966 when I was 10 years old with my parents, it's always been one of my favorite movies. Emma on your music channel you need to react to, "The Good the Bad and the Ugly - The Danish National Symphony Orchestra (Live)." It is 6:03 long. Trivia: The skeleton in the coffin on Sad Hill was real, it's was a Spanish actress and she offed it to be used in a movie as her last performance.

Great reaction Emma. A thing that you and most other streamers seem to miss is where Tuco is hunting Blondie down. Tuco tracks him and as he gets closer the campfires are warmer until finally he finds one where the cigar butt is still lit. He knows he has nearly caught him.

One of my all-time favorite movie. Actually Lee Van Cleef was a sweet man and the scene where he had to slap the girl was very difficult for him : the actress had to insist for him to slap for real but he hated the violence. And he was unsure with horses so he always was given the sweetest and smoothest horse.

I have seen this movie since the 1960s AND as a kid was The Good BUT as I age and watch this movie have become the Ugly. HILARIOUS. AND as a lifelong Catholic I still think the fact the Tuco does the sign of the cross ALL the time IS the reason I do as well along with being Catholic as well. BUT this is the greatest western of all time YOU see regular westerns were clear good/bad clean and bold. THIS is filthy and dirty just like real life. Love how Tuco keeps getting kicked and beat down and still cusses and calls them names and then somehow survives. This movie is life and the music is great too. Keep up the great work your reactions are funny to what some of us (anyways) have watched all our lives. Keep watching old movies Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Humphry Bogart.

Lee van Cleef unfortunately passed away today December 16 1989 from a heart attack age 64
He was 41 (my age as of November 30 2023) when either making the film or when it was released
The bridge detonation sequence was shot 2x because someone accidentally blew up the 1st one during the making of the film
So get ready for a thrill ride
Clint Eastwood #1 movie aside the outlaw Josey Wales
Eli wallach is incredible in this as well as Lee van Cleef

Hello Emma enjoy your introduction to the "Spaghetti Western" genre. They are call that bc these low budget western classics were produced and filmed in Italy and Spain from the mid-1960's thru the early 1970's. About 500 films were made.
You should check out Tarantino's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. Spaghetti Westerns are the subject of one of the subplots in the film.

Dirty Harry is slightly dated since it takes place in the modern era and the discrepancies are easily recognized but it is still a good story. Good reaction, Thanks. You need to watch the other two movies in the trilogy. A Fist Full of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and of course this movie. In the second movie Angle Eyes meets „the GOOD“ (EASTWOOD). That‘s why Eastwood doesn’t get beaten up in the prison camp….Angle Eye knows him from their last meeting. He doesn’t know Tuco so Tuco gets the rough treatment…..Angle Eye‘s name in the second movie is Colonial Mortimer. He was hunting down the killer of his sister……Cheers

Best movie ever? That's debatable. Citizen Kane is among the best. So is Toy Story.

Always love your reactions and your accent. There are 2 great westerns from the 60s. The first is How the West was Won and the other is Little Big Man. They are both very long, so if you do decide to react to them you may want to do a part 1 and part 2. There are several from the 50s: The Searchers, Shane, and High Noon. You may have done some of these but if you haven't, consider them.
