Yes! Incense, great (old) hymns, psalms, organs, chants, prayer books, stained glass, gilded Bibles with large print (for me)...I became a Lutheran for many reasons (See Book of Concord and comparing it to the Bible), but one of them was realizing that God works through MEANS: Water and the Word in Baptism, the Body and the Blood in communion...God is not some gnostic, woo-woo being, but present with us as were are in his body, the Church. Thanks for the message again. Have a good day!
Thank you for your deep dives (for me, at least). I've heard that "only to the Father" thing, but was confused. From some Reformed, I've heard this, but not Anglicans and certainly not my Lutheran background. Thanks for the scripture references! I will enjoy looking the citations up at my leisure, later...
@@barelyprotestant5365 God is triune. So of course it’s okay to pray to the Holy Spirit, or Jesus. Prayer isn’t solely directed to the Father because they’re all God. Matthew 6:6 is just taken way out of context and people think it’s telling us to ONLY pray to the Father which isn’t true.
@@Kayopistos so you're literally admitting people get this wrong. Why exactly then is it wrong or stupid of me to do a video on this? Is it just SLIGHTLY possible, however slim the chance, that I might be doing this because (I know this is crazy, but just hear me out)...I know people who make these claims?
