Greetings my Brothers. This is Mama Africa, Nkiruka. I’m still in ATL. I really miss Ghana. I’m glad to see you two are moving forward. I hope to see you when I get back in Ghana! Respect! ☺️🇬🇭♥️✊🏿
This was how we lived in rural Jamaica in my early years. They can collect rain water from the roof by putting up a gutter, and using a container to catch the water from the gutter. And, to make the bathroom experience more comfortable, they could build an elevated box with a cover as a seat in the latrine. You can make your outdoor latrine beautiful and neat by building it like a small house and putting some tile or natural stone on the floor. Whatever you are building, make it beautiful. When I move to Africa, I definitely want an outdoor kitchen and latrine as back up.
I'm sure they will get there with the beautifying astethics. Actually, in terms of the toilet, squating while emptying the bowels is healthier than sitting on a toilet bowel. It's cancer preventive, because it the position helps empty everything. If one has physical challenges, then ok make another for them.
This is very encouraging. We welcome our brothers from the US. I know that gradually these our brothers will eventually build something enduring for themselves in Africa. They have refused to quit. Bravo.
What stood out to me was the happiness of these brothers and their colleagues. No electricity ⚡️or modern conveniences yet they where praising the most high and happy. Yes bro they were truly happy and appreciative of nature. Their colleagues were a hole vibe. I was excited to meet them more than they were excited to meet me. This style of living ain’t for the weak. The long hike, then the long ride to get back to town was a hell of a experience all by itself lol
@@webelonginafrica44 if you really look at it, most of Ghana 🇬🇭 and Africans as a whole on the continent are already living a off grid lifestyle. Even in the urban areas you will find clothes lines, charcoal cooking 🥘, latrines outside and if it’s any unoccupied forest there you will find gardens all in them. Africa definitely makes you extremely tough and resilient to any circumstance in life. When I first went to Ghana 🇬🇭 I was there only a month and dropped 10 pounds from sweating, more walking and less food consumption. Thats leaf of life in Jamaica, i remember having fever, i pick a leaf and chew on it. And i started feeling better, just eat it raw. The Building Material/MUD Inside Their Dwelling Isn't Dry Yet.. They Need To Have A Fire Inside Their Dwelling To "Cure/Dry" The Mud So It Will Stop Being "Humid" Inside Their Rooms.. The Humidity They Feel Is From The Drying Building Material/"MUD" They're Using.. But Because It's Not Dry Yet? When They Sun Hits It? The Water Inside The Building Material Starts To Evaporate.. Hence "Humidity" Inside The Dwelling... It Will Take A Few Weeks.. But Once Done? The Dwellings Will Be As Hard As Stone.. Then Paint.. Yep... 😎😎😎
You know that makes a lot of sense. It had been raining like crazy when they were building and has been raining a lot afterwards. I think it’ll be drying all up soon.
