    I'm watching this in 2021 having been recommended it by a Crypto trader. Having been studying TA for 8 months solid, this has just entirely changed my way of thinking. This way was the conclusions I'd come to before learning TA (and when I was most profitable), then TA 'taught' me to think like retail and since then I've not been profitable. Thank you Sam, this is fantastic content which I will fully take on board.

    thank you, the comission used to be very large back in the days i see in your trade also the spread was killing. today we are blessed with tight comissions and we have even raw spread brokers. new traders dont understand how it was, but majority still fail in trading because trading is having your own mind under control

    After watching your video over and over again, it appears that my understanding is:
    FRESH ZONES
    1. RALLY-BASE-RALLY = is a Fresh Demand Zone.
    2. DROP-BASE-DROP = is a Fresh Supply Zone.
    NON-FRESH ZONES = PIVOT POINTS
    3. DROP-BASE-RALLY = is NOT a Fresh Demand Zone = Pivot Valleys.
    4. RALLY-BASE-DROP = is NOT a Fresh Supply Zone = Pivot Peaks.
    Why are these NON-FRESH zones any good or is it Not as Good???

      @humblenessnpowah6980 3 года назад +3

      The freshness of a zone is dependent on how many time the price has penetrated therein.

      Based on what Sam says, it could be because these pivots are where price taps into previous S/D levels.

    what does he mean a little after 37:00 area when he says scroll up and to the left and down and to the left to find high probability areas?

    • @humblenessnpowah6980
      @humblenessnpowah6980 3 года назад

      He says that because we need to check whether the price has been thriving in that level previously, which is an odd enhancer indicator for the level's freshness.

  • @cheriesmith6879

    When you say "no pullbacks, make sure it's a "fresh" level", just how far back in time do you go to see if it is a "fresh level"?

    whats the difference between a supply or demand level and a pivot point?

    • @nofears
      @nofears 8 лет назад +12

      a pivot point is usually a retest of a supply or demand zone. Go into a smaller timeframe to see if there is a valid zone inside.

    • @johnmunge6996
      @johnmunge6996 3 года назад

      From my understanding pivot points have been retested by price more than one supply and demand levels are the source of big price movements.

    ffs he legit never explains what determines what is a demand/supply level. He only points a few places that are demand/supply levels and doesn't bother to explain why.

      Candles basing, color don't matter. Engulfings are stronger though
      at least 3:1 move away for high odds
      price doesnt spend too much time in that price range/area (no more than 4 candles as base)
      good odds if it removes opposing zone
      good odds if it's with higher time frame momentum, be up or down

      He does. Its simple. Look for the fresh strong move from where the market leave quick. That’s yo zone. When the price retrace back to that zone get in the action.
