Yessss! Another vlog! As always- love the editing. I am not sure what it is but you somehow manage to film and edit really cohesive videos- although you don’t film every second of your day and don’t show inside your underwear drawer and explain every item you put in the bin or something 😂😂😂 it still feels like your daily experience is well conveyed and it makes it a pleasure to watch. Not everyone can do it that well x
Elena could you please do an in depth video on how to get into an Ivy League/ one of the top colleges like Cambridge?? Edit: saw that you have done similar videos so it is up to you whether to do another one or not.... btw amazing vlogs!
Hi! I made a video about how I got into Princeton which you can find here: ruclips.net/video/KNwPgIiIXjY/видео.html But the idea of doing a more general video on the subject is a cool one and I'll definitely try to film a video like that!
really nice, informative video, however, I did notice that you hardly get any time for leisure! How much time do you typically have in a day to do things like exercise or even watch an episode of your favourite tv show? I'm applying to Cambridge for law this year (interview next week!) and I'm just interested in what the uni life is like.
Hi! I don't film everything I do in a day and this is why it appears like I'm not having much free time, but I definitely have time to watch tv shows or read something everyday! I usually manage to read for about an hour a day and sometimes I also watch an episode on top of that. Good luck for your interview!
Hi, love your vlogs!! I'm interested in your notes and how you take them, with your IPad (the thing I'm interested in the most lol) or whatever method you use. It would be great if you made a video about it!!!
I set aside times for reading and I stick to them. It also helps a lot that the things I read are things I'm genuinely interested in and so it's not hard to keep reading once you start!
are you having any thoughts about how different (better or worse) your life would have been if you'd chosen Princeton instead? I always wonder that about Durham after I picked St Andrews
Hi. Congrats on starting at Cambridge! I've applied to St Johns this year. I'm a UK resident currently doing A Levels here but I did my GCSEs abroad. When applying how did they assess your fee status? Did they consider your home country as your country of residence even as you were studying abroad? Thanks!
Hi! They treated me as an overseas student, but gave me the option to apply for a reassessment of my fee status (which is how my fee status changed to EU fee status).
Yes, there were a few documents they wanted to see! But don't worry too much about it - they tell you exactly which documents they need from you and they are very helpful if you have any questions!
no one :
