Can't believe Chanel 5 are dropping Neighbours it's been such a big part of so many people growing up through the 80s, 90s & 00s 😢

We analysed this in class; our hypothesis was that she had been mistreated when younger and Karl had saved her from that life which is why she felt so betrayed at this point

@@cheekypeteski7545 No one hits for real on TV, any kind of slaps or punches are choreographed to look real on camera but all Jackie did here was hit the air, the sound of the slap is added in the editing room. Alan just had to act as if he had really been slapped that’s all.

And Izzy was insecure when she was with Karl. Shocker. Didn't it come out Sarah and karl was more than a kiss?
Most doctors(My late father was one of the rare exceptions as were a lot of our family friends in that field)had affairs with their receptionist/kept the mistress on the side.This was 13 years from memory after the same thing happened with the dad of my two eldest Australian born cousins,I am a little older than their youngest onscreen son but it really hit home.
I don’t remember it being an affair. It was a fling, but he didn’t sleep with Sarah back then. There was an attraction between them, but this wasn’t an affair. I think Susan overreacted and it was all lies. Later on Karl did cheat, but Sarah wasn’t an affair.
They slept together at the Motel the night before this scene took place, it was obvious but they didn't admit it at the time...they also spent 6 months hanging out together after they first kissed while Susan worked away. No wife would be ok with that even if they hadn't slept together. Even after all this they had another sneaky snog in Sarah's last episode on her wedding day...it was never supposed to be just a moment of weakness, they were supposed to have been in love, they just didn't jump into the sack every five minutes like the characters do now which made the storyline so much better. It was the most well written affair storyline that Neighbours has ever done and they have never topped it. Their acting and the writing is what made it stand out and so memorable.
