What's interesting is that in Slavic folklore, including Poland where I live, we have an interesting old legend about a spirit named Lady Midday (or "Południca") who was said to appear in fields in the moments the Sun is at it's peak and was believed to be a cause of sunstroke to those who worked too long in full Sun, like a kind of divine/demonic punishment. Here obviously we're not on any Slavic territory, and I got a feeling the premise and motives of the villain are much different, but the ressemblance is uncanny 😊 She too appears in broad daylight and carries a scythe (or did I missee it in the trailer? Lol I could) 😊 Can't wait to see the movie ❤
