i have had my old intel macbook since 2019 and it has started to literally burn my lap on even just simple programs like word doc, and editing on it has been an absolute nightmare, so when this went on sale at jb hi-fi for boxing day sale i just had to get it! i've never done a faceless, voiceless video on my channel before so this was a new thing for me but i've always wanted to make an unboxing video like this so i hope you guys like it and thanks for watching!!
i'm currently in hong kong and i'm filming everything i'm eating, along with a separate video where i skate at every ice rink in hong kong and rate them! subscribe if you haven't already so you dont miss it and so you guys can help make me turn this youtube thing into a job (and help fill the pit in my bank account that this macbook created lmao pls i'm so broke now)

Watching this on my new Macbook Pro M3 14-inch I got today. Mines was even older than yours lol. I had a Macbook Pro 2015 13-inch. The computer screen was partially shattered, the keyboard and trackpad were locked so I had to use an external mouse and keyboard, the battery died every 2 hours, it overheated often, and my sound was busted so I had to use headphones. So happy to get such a fast computer now with amazing sound!
omg i had a 2015 macbook pro 13”, that was my first macbook ever and it died in 2019 and never turned on again rip😔 all of that sounds like it would drive anyone insane tho i’m so glad you have an upgrade now!!

love the video! i just got this exact laptop for my grad! :) be careful with putting hardshell cases on your macbook! they make your mac run warmer since it's not being ventilated as it should bc of the plastic! i used to put cases on my macbooks and they would make my laptop hot! i suggest just putting your laptop in a sleeve when you're not using it or for travelling! :)

thank you!! i’ve never used after effects so i can’t speak on that but it runs final cut pretty smoothly even when i’m working on bulky projects if that helps :))

gurl don't put stickers inside the laptop the screen is very fragile and the stickers can cause the screen to crack/get damaged
ahh thanks for letting me know!!
stickers thicker than three pieces of paper can cause issues, otherwise it will be fine. the true culprit is leaving things in the keyboard or hinge like crumbs that can and will crack the screen. :]
Many many congratulations sis I just want to let you know is that don’t put stickers inside otherwise your screen will crack (I am a Spanish boy so I don’t know much English sorry if I said something wrong)

I really should be getting a new laptop at this point also cause my hp laptop is from 2016. The reboot and Internet browsing is starting to slow down, even my mom gets annoyed when she uses my laptop sometimes. I'm looking at this one for video editing and internet browsing. If I do choose this, 👀 sorry Mom! I'll pay u back in the future! The price is crazy

@@kristywun 😭 There was a sale for the MacBook on the Best Buy website, but I was waiting for my mom's friend to reply back cause he'll know more about the specs and stuff I needed for the laptop till it was already too late when he replied back. The sale ended so I ended up getting an Acer Swift x on Amazon

i’ve had a 13” macbook pro since 2016 so 14” is actually big for me. i was also only looking at macbook pros bc i need it to edit and 16” is both too bulky for me and out of my budget
