If this comment wasn't fully TWO YEARS after the video was posted(Sorry!),
I would have suggested 'Mafune' (After the great Toshiro Mafune, of course!)
And, for our Sorceress? I would have gone with 'Hikaru Mei', which (as far as I can tell! I spent half an hour searching the Internet for verification); has the meaning of "sparkley" or "fiery" = Hikaru, and "Gorgeous" (round) "Plum", for Mei.
I was going for "Fiery/Brilliant/Sparkley/" Eyes, but in the course of searching, in the end, this to me just felt right.

FFP really stepped up their game with the art for the tiles in FOFO. Love the look of this!

Completely agree. Just unboxed my new copy of SofD and the tiles are very boring in comparison with only a few not just featuring the same basic swamp look

For the sorceror, not sure if you knew that you can add a die to the casting roll by spending an extra mana, then you can choose the 2 dice to use towards the casting roll. It's really handy when you aren't using all your mana in a turn and you can wait until you roll to use the extra mana. Love the playthrough (and the team up with Collin).

The play through was so enjoyable. I loved to hear the excitement in your voices.
It was hilarious to me that your scavenge rolls were so poor. I think the game was trying to counter balance for all your illegal rolls. You can't scavenge after you look through a doorway.

I'm so happy to see you get back to some SoBS! I hope to see a lot more. Where'd you get the sheets for taking your level ups Bairnt? I like them quite a bit. I've got another sheet I use for characters from BGG, but didn't see that one.
I am excited to get back to it as well Jason! This game is one of my favorites. I got the sheets in the files section I think it was the first one I saw. They work well for me though running multiple characters I forget some of the gear I write down. Wish they had cards for the town items but thats ok. Hope that helps. Just a question: I see that Dead Samurai move across obstacle corners, while you considered that forbidden in the previous mission, because the obstacle edges spill over the corner. Did you find something in the rules that led you to change that?

My niece is overwhelmed by some of the bigger dungeon crawlers. We have been playing Mice & Mystics and Stuffed Fables. I was thinking of Wander Cult of Barnacle Bay. Any other suggessions of any she may like? She enjoys ones with a good story.
This is very common I have the same situation I have an 8 and 11 year old. The 3 you mentioned are three of the best for what you are looking for. I am going to be doing a playthrough soon of an upcoming Kickstarter called Cora Quest I’d take a look at that when it comes out see what you think. I think the dishonored dead might not make corpse tokens when killed with fire. Loke by the sorceress. Could be wrong. Been a while since I faced them. At the very least fire/explosions are the best way to get rid of the tokens themselves. That makes her pretty valuable.
Corpse tokens are interesting. You are correct bombs and explosions remove them, and some of the sorceress’s spells mostly in the fire element can remove those tokens. It’s a good thing I took some fire spells but I may have gone a little overboard on the amount of fire spells I took lol. Thanks for the great comment and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
I was going to mention that too, the Fireball states that adjacent corpse tokens are removed since burnt to ash, I would think the undead were also burnt to ash. I was on the fence on buying this for a while now and found his playthrough, enough to convince me to dive in with an Amazon package of FF, ToS, and Forest of the Dead.

I may be late to the party, but let me say one thing: Deadly Accuracy seems better than it actually is due to the Assassin's starting equipment. Think about it: the Assassin hits on a 4+ (4, 5 and 6). 6 is a critical hit anyway and with the Ninjato equipped (that the assassin starts with), a 5 is a critical hit too. Meaning that 2 out of her 3 hit numbers are critical hits anyway, only a 4 can be elevated into a critical hit and Deadly Accuracy has no effect on complete Misses. And the chances of rolling a critical hit and a number that's still a hit but not a critical hit (a 4) are rather slim, to say the least - 50% chance to hit and of those 50%, 33% chance to roll a 4.
If it weren't for the Ninjato, Deadly Accuracy might actually be worth it, but like this? No. The skill seems awesome, but actually isn't.

@@MeetMeAtTheTable Actually, wait! I made 2 stupid mistakes. The Assassin already hits on a 3 in melee and only rolls 2 dice. If we calculate the numbers for that, we get...
22,2222222% chance to trigger Deadly Accuracy (8 out of 36 possible combinations) in melee. In ranged combat (which hits on a 4+) and assuming that the Ninjato works for ranged combat too (I assume it does, the card only mentions Combat Hits), that chance gets halved to 11,11111%.
Well...it's nice to have as an option, I guess, but it's nothing to rely on.
