Yeah, she is amazing in “designated survivor”. She was maybe 7 or 8 when the show began, but she was able to capture to worry and fear of her dad being the president. It’s a great show and I recommend watching it. She is such a good actor at such a young age
@@BK-3112 yea but he's more of a father than her bio dad ever was Well tbh her bio dad wasn't even in her life so yeahhh and only came because of greed
I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about how she’s been playing every “little blonde girl” role (not in the comments here but in other places) but honestly she’s just such an amazing actress and has been for as long as she’s been acting.
The movie is called ‘Gifted’ (2017) it’s about an uncle who takes care of his niece who is mathematically gifted. In this scene Frank has to leave Mary (the little girl) in a foster home for a little while because it’s court mandated. Frank (the uncle, man in this scene) is fighting for custody for Mary since Mary’s grandmother has come back to try to steal Mary away and make her the perfect prodigy child but Frank wants her to actually have a childhood and friends etc. instead of studying 24/7.
Remember when they had the actors had to try and build this relationship with kid actors to make sure the acting felt authentic? Now we have badasses like this lady.
That little girl went through so much in that movie. All he was doing was trying to do right by her mother’s wishes. There was a reason she wanted Mary to be with Frank and not her mother. He taught her everything he knew before sending her to school and she turned out to be just as smart as her mother. As soon as everyone found that out she was taken away. Frank went above and beyond, he even went as far as going to get her cat from the shelter minutes before he was going to be euthanised
do you think she's actually a genius in real life for acting so on point about how to be a genius kid? sometimes I wonder if the actress is really super smart in rl.
McKenna‘s acting was so underrated! She was able to capture worry and fear at such a extremly young age. Even though she already is sixteen I still look up to her so much!!!
She conveyed the emotions in such a perfect way at this link little age that many experienced actresses fails sometimes shows how much dedicated determined talented and ironic she's!
