Fun fact: James Woods loves the role of Hades so much, he goes out of his way to ensure he’s the only actor to play. He allegedly even offered to cut his pay when the film went over budget
Yeah he’s one of the few celebrities to happily continue to voice a Disney Character in any different project outside the film, compared to a few other celebrities who won’t return because of their status, scheduling and cost hence why they get a sound alike actor. James has voiced Hades in other projects besides the original movie such as _Hercules_ the animated series, _House of Mouse,_ various video games including the _Kingdom Hearts_ series, the Disney Parks, and _Once Upon a Studio_
@@michaelgarner4423 Yeah Disney wanted Jack Nicholson to voice the Lord of the Dead, but turned it down because of financial compensation, then Disney was considering on Willem Dafoe and surprisingly David Bowie to voice Hades before they casted John Lithgow. Lithgow recorded dialogue for Hades but the filmmakers didn’t like his performance so James Woods was brought in to voice the Lord of the Dead as a Sleazy Car Salesman type of character and the rest was History.
@@EChaconTo be fair with Kingdom Hearts, they try and get as many of the original actors as possible. Like Alice in the first game was voiced by the same actress who played her in the movie. Glad he did it, though.
James Woods also voiced Lex Luthor in _Justice League Action_ so I’m somewhat surprised you didn’t included him in the compilation, although it’s good to see Dr. Phillium Benedict from _Recess: School’s Out_ and the Falcon from _Stuart Little 2_ included since they were another one of Woods underrated voice roles besides Hades.
Hades is not underrated, though. It's the only role outside of Family Guy most people would recognize. And they wouldn't even know it's James Woods who did it, because they say "The guy who voiced Hades".

Just like that, I just remembered that Hecules is 18 years old in that movie. Makes you wonder how old Meg is considering how "mature" she is in comparison.
Gotta hand it to Disney, they made a villain more loveable than hated (Hades from Hercules) kinda like Hades from PJO, bro ain't evil but is actually misunderstood and kinda chill
Hades is my all time favorite villian in any Disney movie and I feel like the reason for that is because James woods played him so perfectly, the right amount of sass and sarcasm to bring him to life
“You know? I have been this choked up since I got a hunk of Moussaka caught in my throat” I love to say that at random to friends and they always laugh
My adult self admires and loves his work as Hades, Himself in Simpsons and Himself in Family Guy. I wish my childhood self appreciated him more as the Falcon and Phillium Benedict And now I want to see more of him as Owlman from that Batman I never watched.
Okay that's a cool list.... FUCKING OWLMAN FROM CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS???? That was my actual reaction. First time for me to be caught off guard on these videos
Let me know which voice actors you’d like to see next!
Tony Todd next pls
Jacksepticeye
Fred Tatasciore aka Aarghaumont and Pituitaur

Day 83 of asking for Cristina Vee

He was going to be Buzz light year but of course Allen got that part. He said when Pixar has a role for him to just let him know and boom Hades
His Owlman performance was just…OUTSTANDING. He really made owlman feel like he was legit insane. GOD BLESS THIS MAN AND HIS TALENT!

My favorite James Woods bit from Family Guy
The fact he makes fun of himself in this episode or these episodes of family Guy is just priceless the man has a great sense of humor
@@jehb8945like I know about James woods BECAUSE of family guy lmfao
Classic line
His Owlman is actually pretty damn haunting. The way his voice sounds, he truly sells the feel of someone whose completely dead inside.
The pure nihilist
Does it really matter?
There are alternate versions of him that you would find quite charming.
Yes.
he kinda sounds like an older version of L from Death Note's english dub
black pill Batman doppleganger to a pitch
Hades is truly iconic, glad that James Woods make his character so fun and likable.

Damn, the whiplash from Hades in Hercules, to Owlman is a lot.
And I love both
Best villains ever

I heard that FROM ANOTHER WORLD!
James woods is an excellent example. He's voiced so many characters.
Fun fact!
James Woods was so good at playing Hades that directors often think he's the real Hades. That's why you don't see him in any movies.
Because he might literally fire somebody? 😂
His Owlman is so iconic I didn’t even realize it was him
It doesn't matter
@@taraungoogle8482yes it does
@@sailorjamerioouo973 I was quoting a line James Woods said as Owlman
James Woods, king of Disney voices
James Woods is an iconic actor I love hearing his voice.
My favorite roles of his are himself in Family Guy and Mike Toreno in GTA San Andreas.
Mine are Hades from Hercules and Falcon in Stuart Little 2
James Wood has that charisma He's so much fun on screen and voice acting
I know it's more obscure but James Woods also played Gloomius Maximus in Rolie Polie Olie: The Great Defender of Fun... for anyone who remembers!
James Woods is in Surf's Up! How did I not realise this?
Gotta hand it to Disney, they made a villain more loveable than hated (Hades from Hercules) kinda like Hades from PJO, bro ain't evil but is actually misunderstood and kinda chill

He was also Lex Luthor in “Justice League Action”.
I was surprised they didn't feature his Lex! I think it's pretty great!
The recess schools out gave me so much nostalgia!!
Hades is his most iconic
Owl man is his best
Himself in Family Guy is his funniest
Actors that go out of their way to make sure they are the only ones that play that character shows how much they love doing it
Loved his guest appearance on The Simpsons! 😂
“You know? I have been this choked up since I got a hunk of Moussaka caught in my throat”
I love to say that at random to friends and they always laugh
James Woods also voiced Hopper from PIXAR's A Bug's Life 🦗
Keith Ferguson next pls and thank you!
James Woods method acted so hard as Hades that he's an evil piece of shit in real life too
Him as owl man is without a doubt one of the best roles hes done he was so good i didn't even realize it was james woods for like 13 years straight
I honestly don't care how much of a jerk he is on the internet, the guy is seriously talented and I would love to hear more from him.

One out of the many voice actors who are underrated
I like James. He's cool
It's funny in The Simpsons and Family Guy Crossover both versions of James Woods interact with each other and notice how different they are.
"Do you ENJOY tormenting me? Do you hate me? Do you have any idea what's going on? Any idea whatsoever? Do you? DO YOU?"
-Perfect segway
Owlman is such a compelling villain and his deadpan delivery sells it so perfectly. Easily one of the best villains in a DC animated project.
Remember in the simpson’s family guy crossover when James Woods met himself
Owlman was incredible. Loved that movie
I LOVE JAMES WOODS! Thank you, thank you for including him.
He Also Voiced Lex Luthor in Justice League Action
"Feel the heat" - James Woods
Owlman is hands down one of his best performance
Mike Toreno from San Andreas is one of my favorite videogame characters ever. Bro kiiiiiiilled it
It's Funny That Family Guy James Wood And The Simpsons James Wood Were Actually In The Simpsons Guy
James woods would be a good Saul goodman
Shoutout to James Woods in White House Down. The best part of the movie other than President Jamie Foxx shooting a rocket launcher.

I wonder if James Woods ever dressed up as Hades for Halloween? Since that’s his most favorite character to voice
I had no idea he did owlman that dude has some unexpected range
James Woods can make any and I mean, ANY character that’s a villain slay so hard with a fierce, intimidating edgy voice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I completely forgot he voiced owlman in crisis on two earths. God he did so damn good
He also voices Lex Luthor on Justice League Action
Still bugs me how Disney felt the need to make Hades evil when he never was in the first place
I liked him in Surf's Up and Hercules
NO WAY! He was Owl Man?!!🤯🤯
Okay that's a cool list.... FUCKING OWLMAN FROM CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS????

Owlman is so cool. I love Crisis on Two Earths
And you are wearing HIS MERCHANDISE!

James Woods was the perfect choice for Hades. A lot of his lines were improvised. I hope he reprises the role for the live action remake.
Also, he played as hopper too.
That was Kevin Rapey....
