It's a joy seeing people's first reaction to this extremely underrated band. To suggest one song is a very hard task, since they cannot make a bad song. And with a catalogue of 3 full albums, several EPs and the 4th album coming up really soon it's very hard to choose.
Do you like energetic songs? Then you should go for "I'm Not Made By Design", "Is Everybody Going Crazy?", "Futureproof", "Forever & Ever More", "I Was Just A Kid" or "Ce n'est Rien".
Do you like social commentary? Then "Can You Afford To Be An Individual", "Unperson" or "Phobia" are for you (majority of songs from their 3rd album "Moral Panic" and the EP "Moral Panic II" are social commentaries).
Do you like catchy songs that will never leave your head? Then listen to "Amsterdam", "Trip Switch" , "Real Love Song" or "Welcome To The DCC".
And if you would like to be punched in the gut with feels, then go for "Particles", "If I Get High", "Graveyard Whistling" or "Before We Drift Away". + their collab with Rag N' Bone Man for "Alone"
Once you go even deeper in the rabbit hole, there are a lot of amazing covers that the band has done: Gang of Youths' 'What Can I Do If The Fire Goes Out?', "In My Blood" by Shawn Mendes" or Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" (the most recent one).
It's funny you mentioned Radiohead, Conor did a cover of Creep in the pandemic isolation times, it's pretty good. Conor admitted many time in the past that he is inspired by many great musicians, perhaps the biggest influence cited is Jeff Buckley.
I hope you keep up reacting to them, there are too few reactions to this amazing band.
Thank you so much for the awesome info! They really are seriously underrated! How these guys aren't the biggest British band right now is beyond me. Conor's voice is just out of this world. Jeff Buckley, now you say it, does shine through as does Tom Yorke... Needless to say, Conor has the best of both combined with his own outstanding vocal grace and tone. We'll certainly have another coming very soon 😊🙏🏼
I see a NBT reaction video, I automatically like it before I watch it 😃 They are the best band on the planet, and Conor’s voice is astonishing. They’re touring the UK later this year, if you get the chance to see them do not miss it, they are incredible live!

As others have said, you'll get vibes from "if I get high" acoustic version, "lover please stay" acoustic version, particles (piano version), "Afterlife", "Before we drift away", "itch", "ban all the music", "Gods". In short, any track you choose won't disappoint you

I love this band! I saw these guys in concert in Phoenix several years ago and though they were absolutely dying in the June heat, they were magnificent! My kids and I joked that their manager needed to be fired for agreeing to drag five British dudes to an outdoor concert in Phoenix in the month of June.😅
I was legitimately worried about how miserable and sweaty they looked, but they still rocked. Even though the sun had set, the temps were still around 90f (32.2c)
If they come to a town near you, I HIGHLY recommend going to see them perform.

So when are you reacting to these guys again? Their latest album has been out for a while now, it’s definitely worth a listen! I can’t pick a favourite track as they’re all amazing and really different from each other, but I highly recommend City Haunts just for Conor’s unbelievable vocals. I saw them play it a couple of times on their recent tour and it’s even better live! I’m just going to watch your reaction to Alien Ant Farm now, can’t wait to see what The Lad thinks of that one 😃

So I’m curious. I heard you say make your chocolate more British what exactly does that mean? Is yours sweeter or is it richer or I’m just curious as to what the main differences are. I tend to like dark chocolate, so mine tend to be much much less sweet anyway. Just curious.

@@ChrisB-xm3mg most stores just have them at Easter but some local ones have them all year round. We probably have 2 a day to get our sugar fix 🤣
