Hey Brad, I got into poker a few months ago but recently discovered your channel and I can't stop watching your vlogs. Love the lodge,WPT, and just regular cash game vlogs. Keep doing what you're doing man! Good luck on the felt.
I love when people get mad about that shit lmfao, I remember I got it in with a guy preflop AK against KT, guy hit a T on the flop and I stood up to go rebuy, the river was an A and the guy immediately started bitching at me for standing up hahaha
I’ve watched all of your videos since you were playing 1-3/2-5 at bellagio and brother man you have perfected the vlogs. Thank you and congrats on becoming a dad!
You should watch all of Mariano videos to see how he went from playing $1-$2 to 100k buy-ins games using money made from fraud and cheating, then laundering it in Brad Owen's card room.
Damn it’s really been 4 and a half years since I started watching your videos. Loved every one of them. Win or lose you’re still an amazing person and a great poker teacher. Keep up the great work!!
Brad, bro, I watch everything you post on YT and I love what you've been doing all these years. Wish you all the best flopped sets and nuts on the rivers 💖
bro i hope they make a documentary about you. one of the best examples of a self made blogger in any respect, not just in poker. you're a class act, Brad!
Another great vid. Its awesome to see you turn it around Brad. You've had a rough go and this is a well deserved turn. Also, not for nothing, the blonde dealer is absolutely stunning. Good grief.

Brad, it's why you are able to play poker as a pro... I have watched you lose to bad beats so many times this year, I think I was more nervous than you were watching the 3 of diamonds show up. Again Brad, thanks for taking us along.
@ of course man, always loved playing poker with family and friends, have wanted to try playing at casinos for a couple years now since I’ve learned a lot from your videos but money being tight makes it a bit hard. Hope one day I can make it out to a fan game, keep up the good work and good luck in the December tournament my man
I’ve been calling J6 the Insurrection for a couple years now. I’m a pretty well known player around LA, mostly in the private game scene. If it somehow made its way through the grapevine to Brad, I’m more than happy for him to get it out there. If it’s just a coincidence and a matter of two minds coming up with it, then I’m happy to be in such good creative company. It actually happens a lot in my profession, which is stand up comedy. A lot of times more than one comic will think of the same joke but unless one comic has an uncanny version of it, it’s usually forgiven and chalked up to unintentional.
It's funny, I've played some bad tournaments in my day, but the worst was the tournament I played right after I read "Every Hand Revealed." I busted the Harvey Lake Tahoe Main Event in 2010 in about 15 mins. I think it was a $1500 or $1600 in November of that year. I bluffed it all off in a spot that I never would've if I hadn't read that book.
This is exactly how our home game is except we're actually having a great time. You can smile when you win a big pot Brad!!! Everyone's acting like their at a funeral!
Moe Money was going apeshit the last round i watched.. seems he must be sipping on green tea, instead of redbull and vodka... love the action... it was a blastoff nearly ever hand..
@@BradOwenPoker Started playing in "05 and Theory of Poker was the first thing I read. Your reference to it was too funny. Gonna be in Vegas all of Dec. Hope to get to say Hi.
I'm having one of the worst years I've ever had. I'm down $2500 at the moment. I was up about $100k at the end of May, then decided to go as hard as I could during the WSOP playing a lot of $5ks, $10ks, and even a $25k. After summer I was down $40,000 at the low point. Since August I've mostly been playing 5/10 to get it all back. It's kind of a weird year, where if you look at how I'm doing in terms of BBs/hr, I'm crushing it. The amount of money I've actually won is negative lol. I always do a deeper drive into my yearly stats once the year is over. There's still time and some big events to play to hopefully get things back on track, we'll see...
@Brad... do you mind making a video? what do you think on the table generally? Do you sit quietly or talk to others? Do you answer others on the table? like what hand you have previously etc. I would be happy if you could answer here in the comments
Really nice to see Brad folding that last hand. The calling down everything, at least in the vlogs, really seemed to be the big down turn in play. And a second note, I don't and haven't studied poker, or seriously do the math/indepth thinking game while playing to read hands... but I am fairly intrigued to see that AK is essentially played the same as AA or KK. Just seems like it's always an instant preflop all in if it goes that way. Knew it was a top hand but didn't really know it was the same as those top two. Just interesting to me.
Just a video recommendation for videos where you're on stream. It may be a lot more editing/work but try uploading a video where you block what your opponents have until showdown. It'll have the same suspense as your POV videos have. Love the videos, glad to things turning around for you!
Thanks man. I often consider it, and have done it a few times for certain streamed hands in the past, but yeah it's definitely more work. I think it's worth doing for some hands though.
Yeah on December 17th. It's set for Day 2 of the World Championship, which is kinda odd timing. I'm honestly hoping I won't be able to play it, but it's a good consolation prize in case I get busted out.
Good no call on the last hand. There are no heroes in poker. Calling pot size bets on the river are usually not a good idea. Especially with one small pair.

Calling J 6 Insurrection hand killed me.
wow that's what I started calling it. Awesome.
lol-ed and spilled my coffee at that line
Was playing battleship with my son yesterday and when he said J 6, my mind immediately went to insurrection.
