Tbh this scene was so so for me. Despite an interesting fight… dude murdered your mother, mocked you while doing it as well and had you watch. This was all the emotion he (Rio) could show? The villain (Lucius) showed more emotion/personality and he wasnt even wronged.
He didn’t want to give Lucius the satisfaction. It was obvious, even back then that what Lucius really wanted was to watch his victims’ emotional outbursts. Besides, Rio’s been stewing over this for 10 years. At this point, it’s just a job that needs to be done.

What is it with Japanse authors and hiding it till the Last moment or never even revealing it. There could be so many Great moments in the anime if they knew early. Dude I love the series but the CG in anime is getting out of hand. It looks so bad and makes the action scenes feel incredibly slow. Bring back normal animation please. Some of these scenes are just hard to watch.
