I met some of these fearsome Canadian soldiers who were on UN Duties in Cyprus. They were not the least bit friendly towards us and drank like fish when off duty. Then they popped up in Germany a bit later on, even less friendly. 🤪 Was it just me? They have a great history and were always give great respect whenever they came up in conversation.
