(4K) 10 Minutes Plane Spotting | Memphis (MEM-KMEM)Int'l | 10.20 & 10.21.2022

My First Xperience in Memphis, TN. I was there for the famous BBQ and blues music on Beale street and the other tourist things to do but I managed to squeeze in a few minutes of planespotting outside on Airways Boulevard and inside the brand new terminal.
Planespotting seems kind of sketchy and unofficial there, lots of do not trespass signs. I tried to call the local Airport Police to advise them of what I was doing as recommended by spotterguide.net for this location but no one answered the non emergency number that was provided on the site but fortunately no one stopped and gave me the boot but I still felt uncomfortable on a busy street so I only stayed long enough to capture a few jets, including a pair of FedEx Boeing 777s for the first time! It was amazing to see SO many FedEx jets at this Super FedEx Cargo hub!
I do not own any of the music you may hear in the background in the Airport Terminal.

Where were you shooting from at 6:50 in your video. I remember long time ago you could park next to the taxi way and a cop showed me a hole in the fence someone made for shooting pictures.

Much agreed no more 767-300F they should also bring their DC/MD-10 and MD-11F

The 767 and 777 are replacing the MD fleet. The MD-10 was retired in December of last year and FedEx is hoping to retire the MD-11 by 2025-2026

I was hoping to catch a MD-10 one last time while I was there Oct last year but didn't have enough time to do planespotting more thoroughly. The tourist attractions were the priority for this trip.

@@EVPAviationTravel ya know funnily enough, while the MD-10/11 might be cool to see land and take off, it is a horrible plane to work on. That's because it's so old that the amount of work you have to do to load it is insane.
