Awesome awesome video, I was there a few years ago to see the Elvis Presley Museum and hotel and ended up at the park all afternoon watching those beasts. What a good time.✈️
The 777 everyone is talking about "touch and go's" on is actually a fairly new 777F fedex purchased from Etihad cargo last year around Christmas time. They use it for training basic entry procedures to the new 777 Candidate's for fedex's 777 program.
As a Memphis native, you picked the perfect spot for takeoffs! They don't call it Airways for nothing! Fun fact: Airways also runs into Mississippi and then splits into Old Airways Blvd that used to run alongside I-55 in MS which will now be part of I-55 as they will widen I-55 in that area in 2025.
Subscribed!! I have a sweet spot for B-757’s with Rolls Royce engines - love that sound! Loved seeing the mix of A300’s, 767’s, 777’s, MD-11’s and a (what?!) a DC-10!!
Heu, folks! I searched this airport on Wikipedia and, according to my counts, FedEx flies to more than 158 destinations (including Fedex Feeder). I think this is the largest single hub from a cargo airline. It's so much Fedex's planes on it =)
Where are you videoing from? Airways Blvd.? Can you watch planes from Airways again? When I was growing up in the 60's & 70"s, we would take a trip to Memphis. Before we started home, we would always go by Airways around 5pm and watch the jets take off. 5pm was the big time to watch them. People would be lined up all along the road watching. They would take picnic baskets and have meals as they watched. Sure miss those days. Miss all the houses that lined Airways also.
What spot did you take the video from? I went there today, but couldn’t see any planes at all. Could you make a video or DM me the location u took the videos from please? Thank you ... great spotting!
Memphis is the home of FedEx (Including their executive fleet). Most of the airlines take off between 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. During the holidays there are several Atlas Air 747-400F and 747-8F fly into Memphis. The Concorde stopped in Memphis for the now defunct Braniff International, along with Air Force One and the AN-225. Memphis International is also home of the 164th Airlift Group of the Tennessee Air National Guard .
I live in the Memphis area and it’s rare to see FedEx do touch and go’s unless it’s for maintenance

Climb rate on those MD-11s is absolutely insane
it has 3 engines
@@heymate8334yes, we couldn’t tell that it had 3 engines. 2 on the wings, and 1 on the tail rudder.
They may be some dc 10s
@@KaijuszillaDC-10s are nit in service anymore

How do you know so much about FedEx? I dream of being a FedEx pilot.
So that was bought at the Christmas sale.😂😂😂
Btw just joking.
Nice DC-10 at 4:10
Also every 767 takeoff sounds EXACTLY the same (so much that I thought the clips were looped)
That's an MD-11
@@FedExMD-11it’s a dc10 it has no middle landing gear and no winglets

Can you plane spot at Indianapolis, it’s the second biggest FedEx hub.
Nice spotting😍😍
Love those A300s
hey man can you write the names of the detination airport and the flight time?
Why flight time you can’t just estimate the flight time
@@Butter-or2yo it’s called using a flight tracker like flightradar24
Just use Flightradar24 or something.
The Airport is Memphis International
Having to stand on Winchester and Airways to get these shots 🤣🤣 Memphis has some great planespotting action though!

Great Company did my 20yrs my brother Air craft mechanic for FedEx
That was rare to see the touch and go. Must have been maintenance or another aircraft on the runway.
Very nice video 👍 subscribed
How much resting time do pilots get after let's say a 5 hour flight, before you have to take off again with another cargo?
Thank God for the OIL that make fly those incredible machines.
Excellent, thanks!
I seen the Concorde there in 1986
Is there a designated area to spot at in Memphis
That FedEx 777f was having some trouble I wonder what was wrong with it
it was just trying to Aline with the center line
Number of it?
What street is that (where are you spotting from)
I really miss the old livery tbh
cool moment at 11:50 B)
Great video but one word of advice: a bit more variety in airlines!
They are at Memphis, basically FedEx HQ
That is basically all the variety you get in Memphis. Especially around 3:00pm.
I think he was trolling
@@MaxAviation what? I live in Indianapolis and I can see FedEx’s hub in the indianapolis international airport.
@@superbrownsheep3777 fedex has multiple hubs, even in overseas. Their memphis hub is their largest hub though
