And you'll ride 20 miles and the battery reads dead. turn the bike off, come out the next day and it reads 50%. it's the controlers way of protecting the cells.
I just got the h6 max but its turning off aal the time!!! Somethings is wrong because i accelerate and turns off, i hit a small bump and turns off. Im like WRF
There's a pigtail and a fuse stuffed in there with the controller.. one of them must have gotten bumped loose in shipping. Check all your connections and hit me up if you can't find it. I can make a quick little video for ya. I'm actually planning on doing a video familiarizing folks with the guts of these things.
Sounds like it needs adjustment at the caliper then. Loosen the two 5mm allen nuts at the back of the caliper holding the pads. just a little so the pads are loose. Have someone squeeze the lever and retighten the bolts while the lever is being squeezed. That should set em right.
Yeah. Let the bike simmer down a bit after a ride before plugging it in. The power meter goes down fast during a ride in order to protect the battery. Turn the bike off for a bit to let the battery recuperate then turn it back on and you’ll see. The charger that comes with the max is the nicest I’ve seen. It’ll cut off like a trickle charger when the battery is topped off. Don;t have to worry about over charging or anything like that.
The 80% thing is for storage. If you're not going to ride for a while. I'm not sure how accurate that is but it's what all the "Ebike Gurus" say so.... Definitely want it topped off to full capacity for a ride. Cheers!
there are two small screws on the derailleur. One brings it in and one brings it out. If it's even a little off either way then your chain can bounce off. It's a problem with rear suspension bikes. When the swing arm compresses, the chain is given slack. So real important the chain and derailleur are lined up. The Altus derailleur isn't the greatest. There should be a lot more tension on the chain.
Yeah. It's only cheaper because you only get the rear battery though. And pre order pricing. My old H6 is still my fav. The mags are cool but in the long run, spokes are better off road. We'll see....
Excellent video can’t wait for more
Thanks so much!
I already preordered my H6 Max
I'm gonna geek out on that thing so hard! Cheers!
I just bought an x3pro 20ah version, and the battery drains quick. I went 4 miles and lost 2 bars. This was on a full charge
Bars?
You have to wake up the battery. New lithium is like that. You have plenty of juice. it's just not registering yet. There's a "break in" period.
And you'll ride 20 miles and the battery reads dead. turn the bike off, come out the next day and it reads 50%. it's the controlers way of protecting the cells.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist yes battery bars. You have 5. I lost 2 after 4 miles
@TheE-LightenedArtist so after a couple of times, the battery will get better?

Hey buddy, can you do a review of the dual motor version
Yeah the folks at Wallke are gonna hook me up here soon. I’m pretty excited!
Siri calls you daddy on the regular 😂
Does the max come with a front battery or do i have to buy one?
No they’re sold separately .
My back break is very squishy. How can I adjust it
Try turning the adjustment knob on the brake lever. should make it nice and responsive.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist yes I tried that, but it doesn't work

I'll try to make a quick short on how to do it and give you a link when I get home from work tonight.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist ok thanks man
You got any good tips on charging? I got the H6 MAX

@@TheE-LightenedArtist thanks
So you charge to 100% some people say 80% but seems like you would have to watch it so you could unplug at 80%

@TheE-LightenedArtist Thanks I appreciate it.
My derailleur is loose. Is there anyway to tighten it
The 5mm Allen screw secures it to the frame. Even with it torqued down there should still be a little slop.
@@TheE-LightenedArtist my chain has popped off a few times as well

It’s so lame how I brought my gay regular walke h6 over the summer now they bring out a much better one for cheaper.

I'm there with you. It sux. I want an a8 pro max now. But wallke still beats it on the pedaling experience.
Want the max it's hot
