@@toxisaus5844 nah lol I just mean these vocals are perfect for the breakdown. A vocal solo like LS does a lot probably wouldn't work here because it would kill all the momentum from the buildup. Joe could obviously do it but it wouldn't fit as well
8 different “vocal styles” is never needed in any breakdown. lol. This dude’s vocals are the perfect blend for metal. He can carry melodies and hold notes, without sounding like every goddamn band that exists today that you know will at some point break into whiny, cookie-cutter melodic vocals. I love melody, and think it makes metal better, but these dudes know the line. They use melody and vocal variation to add just enough color that it adds to the ambience and mood of the song as it moves and transforms. He also can do his fry scream high and low, but just enough w/o doing the pig vocals…that shit is clown shoes. FFAA is by far the best mix of modern genres of metal right now. I hope they continue to evolve and challenge the genre.
