@@ellaparkinson3726 the book is a web book. There two versions though. The first one was the original edition (Uncensored ). You can find it on exiledrebelsscanlations.com and another one on wattpad which was somehow edited according to Chinese laws. So Ofcourse I'm reading the original one. The name is Mo Dao Zu Shi though not the Untamed. The Untamed drama was derived from the novel called Mo Da Zu Shi. The Grandmaster of demonic cultivation. When you read, you will remember the scenes from the drama.

Xiao Zhan's interviews are fun to watch. He's really well spoken and seems really sweet. I'm really thankful for the amount of love and effort he put into playing Wei Wuxian. I'm not sure if I'll follow his other shows, but I wish him the very best in his life.

WWX's character made a huge impact on me as a reader. The way he got emotional when rewatching the clips got me. Some people might laugh it off when emotional scenes come on because they were simply acting and it's cringy now, but his reaction was so natural like it was genuinely evoked from within. I honestly appreciated how much thought and effort he put into interpreting WWX's character and playing him so so well.
Ikr, when he said wei wu xian is yje hardest character for him to move on, we can clearly see why. That show how much he love tue character and how good actor is xiou zhan. I am so glad to meet the untamed even i was late for about one yr.
''I said to myself that I had to walk out of it, leave him there...'' This part got me. It shows how much he immersed himself in the role, and how much he understands Wei WuXian.
After seeing the him showing his lines in the BTS videos, I'm really surprised by the difficulty that this role was to him. No one wanted to be him because of how difficult it is. To memorize and say those lines when the filming begin, showing the emotions at the same time. It really amazes me.
Those two parts he mentioned. The night less city war when his Shijie died and that part when they were together at the silent room. Their thoughts were connected and comforting each other. Those scenes were emotional. Wei Wuxian said "All those who believed in me died, Shijie and Wening" then Lan Wang ji replied in thought " There's still someone who believes in you in this world" and that was him. It was beautiful. Very beautiful. I understand him when says that. It's really important in life to have someone who believes in you whatever the situation. I like him as an actor because he knows how cruel life is and what it means to hit bottom and to come up again.

I like how Xiao Zhan isn't at all frivolous. He's quite smart and doesn't seem to be full of himself. He's very down to earth and I appreciate those traits of his. I hope he only keeps maturing per his age throughout the years. He seems like a nice person.
It's really amazing how he truly understood Wei WuXian and tried to convey (succeeding to do so) his personality. He had an amazingly holistic view of the character.
Ever since I watched The Untamed, I became addicted to Xiao Zhan and watched all his works, song performances, endorsements, vlogs, interviews, and anything related to him He played the role so well of Wei Wuxian in The Untamed that it is so hard to forget his character. After watching The Untamed, this totally has shifted my attention to Chinese Dramas instead of watching Korean Dramas before during my downtime from work. The more I get to know XCiao Zhan, the more I fell in love with him and all his works. He brings so much positivity to me and just makes my day. Xiao Zhan as Wei WuXian is the heart and soul of The Untamed. Nobody could have played this role as perfect as him. He gave his all to this role and created a masterpiece.

Wow the few seconds of Shijie's death when she said " Just now why you run so fast. I couldn't see you properly ", while watching this short part, unconsciously I tears up. I want to shout-out that "The untamed " is the first Chinese drama that ever make me cried non stop with every emotional scene. All this while, while I watching Chinese drama, I never really cried a lot. But this is the very first drama that make me feel this way. And every time I watch the emotional scene, I would tears up again. The storyline, the concept, the story development really great especially the acting of the actors actress when they played their role. I hope there will be sequel or movie for this drama. Because they deserve it.

It's one of the best fandoms to fall in! I recommend checking out the original novel (mo dao zu shi) and the other adaptations of the same story - anime, manga and audio drama ^^

Cailuong007 I agree. Ever since I’ve watched the show I’ve become more infatuated with the two main leads and would like to know more about them. I even joined an international The Untamed fan club on fb. XZ was superb in this role and truly embodied WW. I live in the U.S. and took a year of Japanese and recognized some of the characters looked the same but I’m not fluent in either language. This series made me want to learn it. I’ve been binge watching a lot of Chinese/Korean shows on Netflix lately and when I saw the poster for it, I was immediately intrigued. It did not disappoint and it made a special place in my heart. Thank you XZ & WY for making this a lasting memory.
