Those two parts he mentioned. The night less city war when his Shijie died and that part when they were together at the silent room. Their thoughts were connected and comforting each other. Those scenes were emotional. Wei Wuxian said "All those who believed in me died, Shijie and Wening" then Lan Wang ji replied in thought " There's still someone who believes in you in this world" and that was him. It was beautiful. Very beautiful. I understand him when says that. It's really important in life to have someone who believes in you whatever the situation. I like him as an actor because he knows how cruel life is and what it means to hit bottom and to come up again.
''I said to myself that I had to walk out of it, leave him there...'' This part got me. It shows how much he immersed himself in the role, and how much he understands Wei WuXian. After seeing the him showing his lines in the BTS videos, I'm really surprised by the difficulty that this role was to him. No one wanted to be him because of how difficult it is. To memorize and say those lines when the filming begin, showing the emotions at the same time. It really amazes me.

Wow the few seconds of Shijie's death when she said " Just now why you run so fast. I couldn't see you properly ", while watching this short part, unconsciously I tears up. I want to shout-out that "The untamed " is the first Chinese drama that ever make me cried non stop with every emotional scene. All this while, while I watching Chinese drama, I never really cried a lot. But this is the very first drama that make me feel this way. And every time I watch the emotional scene, I would tears up again. The storyline, the concept, the story development really great especially the acting of the actors actress when they played their role. I hope there will be sequel or movie for this drama. I even joined an international The Untamed fan club on fb. XZ was superb in this role and truly embodied WW. I live in the U.S. and took a year of Japanese and recognized some of the characters looked the same but I’m not fluent in either language. This series made me want to learn it. I’ve been binge watching a lot of Chinese/Korean shows on Netflix lately and when I saw the poster for it, I was immediately intrigued. It did not disappoint and it made a special place in my heart. You know I always wondered if he went back and watched the show on his own. I imagine acting it out and thinking you see one thing is very different from looking back as an outsider and feeling the emotions he tried to convey.

tbh up to this day, Wei Wuxian is still the character that he is best suited in, he is well suited in every character he have played because he is a really REALLY great actor, but WWX is that character that he was able to embody(?), like he connected to wwx emotionally for a really long time

i've seen so many dramas, but WWX will always hold a special place in my heart, so i understand why any actor playing him would have difficulties letting go of his character. i fell in love with the character after reading the novel (thank you to the creator MXTX!!!), and even more after watching XZ's portrayal in The Untamed. he did so well. i can't imagine anyone else playing WWX.

Cailuong007 I agree. Ever since I’ve watched the show I’ve become more infatuated with the two main leads and would like to know more about them. I even joined an international The Untamed fan club on fb. XZ was superb in this role and truly embodied WW. I live in the U.S. and took a year of Japanese and recognized some of the characters looked the same but I’m not fluent in either language. This series made me want to learn it. I’ve been binge watching a lot of Chinese/Korean shows on Netflix lately and when I saw the poster for it, I was immediately intrigued. It did not disappoint and it made a special place in my heart. Thank you XZ & WY for making this a lasting memory.

tbh up to this day, Wei Wuxian is still the character that he is best suited in, he is well suited in every character he have played because he is a really REALLY great actor, but WWX is that character that he was able to embody(?), like he connected to wwx emotionally for a really long time

i've seen so many dramas, but WWX will always hold a special place in my heart, so i understand why any actor playing him would have difficulties letting go of his character. i fell in love with the character after reading the novel (thank you to the creator MXTX!!!), and even more after watching XZ's portrayal in The Untamed. he did so well. i can't imagine anyone else playing WWX.
