Hard Rock Golf Club at Cana Bay and Iberostar Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Macao Beach and Arena Gorda Beach. Scuba diving, water skiing, and parasailing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours nearby.
This video was recorded between November 5 - 19 2021, during that time our stay was great such as the food, drinks, rooms, and overall standard. Our stay may have been better than most as we had the Grand Sirenis Ultimate Leisure Club Membership which gives you higher quality food, drinks, service, and rooms.

The resort is grossly mismanaged and understaffed! Food prep and maintenance are negligent. The buffet buildings have an ongoing foul odor, flying insects, as well as birds hanging out. Food is not maintained at proper temperatures and all settles to a warm room temp rather quickly. It was the same food everyday at the buffets during our 5 night stay. We had issues getting restaurant reservations even though one of our group got with our concierge even before we got into our rooms. We were initially told that ‘buffets will have to do.’ We spent the first 1.5 hours after checking in arguing for restaurant reservations. The Mediterranean restaurant was ok. Japanese ok … however, while beef was undercooked the rice was overcooked to a crunchy hardness. Food at Italian was an overcooked bland blob of something. The rooms are old, moldy, and nothing works correctly!
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Hi, we are coming this June. I have some questions please help:
1. How is the beach at this resort? Is this lots of seaweed? Is the beach beautiful for the photos and swimable? (Is the wave too strong or water too cold)?
2. Is this difficult to make reservations for the restaurants? Is there any seafood for the buffet (crab / lobsters/ snow crab)?
3. Is there any lazy river in this resort?
4. Is this far from this resort to the centre (Bavaro)?
5. Do they supply drink (alcohol, mocktail, fresh coconut) on the beach?
6. Is this far from this resort to the water park?

The beach is beautiful for photos there might be some seaweed problems in June, but the staff will most likely clean it up. It is swimable but there are large waves. I recommend swimming near the beach. The water is perfect temperature but is not very clear for snorkeling.
Making reservations to restaurants is simple just speak to your assigned concierge to book them. There is seafood at the buffet, but more on the Mediterranean themed night. There is also alot of seafood at the Mediterranean restaurant and Japanese.
There is no lazy river

Yes there is a beach bar and you can request a fresh picked coconut to drink or eat from the trees in the resort.
I am going to this resort in 1 month. I heard from some other vlogs about this hotel that it would take a few minutes to walk over from the resort to the waterpark and I am wondering if there is some kind of "transportation" to take there, if so, is it included in the price for an all-inclusive stay in the resort?
Yes there are golf carts to take you around and they are completely free
Nice video, 1 question how was the food? because it doesn't look appetizing. Kinda of looks stale just sitting out there.
I would give it a 3/5 stars but it depends on what time you go to eat

I'm going March 15 is there stuff you can do in the playroom and like what are the covid guidelines there and what are the ages there my cousins are coming with me there are six and nine
There is a kids club. The staff usually gathers the kids and bring them to the kids club. They have games in the club and around the pool area and art and crafts. They also take kids to waterpark. The age is usually 3-12.
Last time I checked mask had to be worn when entering restaurants. No mask needed when seated. Also mask was needed when ordering at the bars. In the open air places mask was not required.

What was the covid guide lines like ? We want to go in april
We were double vaccinated and departed from Canada without a COVID test needed, but 3 days before departing from Punta Cana we had to take a COVID test 100$ per person. If you are traveling with a child under 11 and are unvaccinated they have to take a COVID test there and when you land back at your home country

Yes absolutely I highly recommend it I even have a VIP membership for this resort chain
