I absolutely agree with it being her doing them one by one and saving henry for last cause not only does it make sense but henry's neck stub thing looks like alpha took a good amount more time getting his head off than the others by how ripped apart his neck is
Shame they never did anything shocking again when it comes to big characters on the show. Season 10 and 11 are for the most part void of any main character death. Only the finale episode had 1. And a handful of minor characters, other than that just the enemies and redshirts.
Everything thing about this composition is incredible, from the tension to the build up and then it goes into this somber moment where you feel sad even without watching this episode
Damn it, I shed some tears during that speech and those pikes...so haunting. One of my favorite Walking Dead episodes just from how many emotions it made me feel throughout.
The fact that. The moment they were about to die. Alpha was between Siddiq and Tara to decide who of them should bring 'the message' she had for the communities. And Tara decided that it had to be her the one who dies and let Siddiq live. Because they would need more from a doctor than another simple leader. That's what she said 😢😢😭😭
I hope some day we will get to buy a physical CD album with the best pieces of music of TWD (all 11 seasons), and these two ("Pikes" and "Speech") - maybe even as one piece - have to be on that album.
DJ Carnation i just checked and I actually didn’t see it, the last OST in the season 1 playlist is called “Power” and it’s the part when Jenner locks the door
@@DD9and10 I think the one you're looking for might be called 'Running to the rain' by Peter Gabriel. It's an official soundtrack that was used for this scene
T. Nicholas oh yeah i know about that one, but the one i’m looking for is the one that plays when rick and co are trying to break that window (before carol gives the grenade), cuz running to the rain starts after the window is blown out
The music made the scene emotional, far more than th character's! Yumiko was the only one who pulled off that scene, the shock and the horror, I hated everyone else's reaction!
Yeah Carol too but I don't know the rest besides carol and yumiko who didn't even know anyone all that much didn't seem all that affected! It seemed forced! This gives GoT a run for twist and shock value. Alpha is a goddamn savage. I think she did them 1 by 1 and saved Henry for last.

Stupid Carol. Failing to keep so many children save. Ignorant wanna be mom xD, #sadreality
I feel like Bear should see the views on these videos with this song; it would tell him we need a purchasable version of it.
I agree however it’s not up to him. It’s owned by AMC.

Such an emotional scene
One of my favorite pieces of tv music ever... Bear McCreary is a legend.
So I guess Alpha saw Saddiq and was like "I may be a psycopath but I'm not a racist".

She says as she kills Rodney.
Didn't Negan say something like that in the comics before bashing someone to death?
It was on purpose along with Dr. Dante being the mole.

The Walking Dead's Red Wedding

Bear McCreary really doesn't tease his music all that much. Every piece is named for a scene, Rick's Despair, The Tombs, Farm Invasion, etc.
This is iconic. Amazing.
2:08 is Enid pike
One of my favorite buildups to a major plot twist in film history. So heartbreaking when you know every one of the character’s past.
