Adult Swim had her gazing out the window as an interlude to commercials which got me into this gem of a show. I'd hate to compare the other episodes against, but this one takes the cake!
It is but I can see why they didn't, Space Dandy was a way for Watanabe to give lesser known and younger writers, animators and directors almost unlimited creative reign over there episode, so a lot of writers and directors on the show might not have had any connection with or known of this character
Oh yeah. Just one of the low-key best scenes in a great series. I'll be revisiting this scene and its soundtrack many times. Likely the whole series along with it, baby.
This will forever be my favourite space dandy episode
Akemi hayashi is the name of the director of this episode if you were wondering😁
scarface42755 aye cheers man he’s obviously very skilled
@@jackdaw5736 hahaha i also thought its a guy cuz of the name but it is a woman😂
@@jackdaw5736 and also i've also read that shingo natsume was also co-director (he was the man behind One Punch Man)
scarface42755 I would of never guessed he was actually a she 😂 and I can see the episode got a lot of good people on it
One of the best scenes in one of the best series.
It’s really nice and heartwarming to know that Dandy cares about Kids. 😎
He may be a shallow Space Dandy on the surface, but deep down he really is just a dandy guy in space, baby 👉
It’s a shame on how much a lot of people miss out on on watching beautiful anime’s like this cause they don’t want to watch a “cartoon”
the only anime, the only episode, to ever make me cry
still fucking gets me, man.
This scene was so wholesome💖
As someone who grew up without a father, seeing Dandy act almost as a father figure to this young girl is quite comforting.
This was my first episode i saw of Dandy and this show holds a very special place in my heart
GOD does Watanabe know how to mix music and anime! What a wonderful and magical scene 🥰 Hell this whole series is beautiful
Akemi hayashi and Shingo Natsume (the man behind One Punch Man) were the directors of this episode if someone was wondering😁
Sucks if he also direct opm2
I really want to see Akemi Hayashi own anime
She’s so pure and innocent :( I’m happy Dandy wasn’t an asshole and did what he could to reunite her with the grandpa!
Dandy has a pure heart

Shame she didnt join the crew or appear in any more episodes
