What a fantastic story of using adversity to make you stronger to overcome obstacles and conquer life. Joseph Bird is a Beast too, so it's no wonder you recognized one of your own kind Eddie.
I have cerebral palsy and this is BY FAR the most special video you've made. I have CP and it doesn't fucking stop me! Thank you for giving me a little bit more hope. Every little thing that you said about cerebral palsy was fucking bang on Eddie. For someone who hasn't got CP you were my voice
I am 47 now and for the first 40 years of my life I did not pay Mutch attention to Palsy.. Then 7 years ago I did the Run part of a Ironman with a small Girl with Palsy and even tho she had like 10% movement left in her body The smile she had on her face, wile I was dying on the run was just amazing.. But since then I woke up and realized how many people that is actually affected by Palsy.. so Sir keep fighting this shit disease best of luck =)
@@Bukoe it's not actually a disease but I know what you mean and also I'm a woman, for the first 23 years of my life, I needed help with day to day stuff! My CP mainly affect my hands and I don't have the best balance but my balance is definitely improving! When I turned 23 my life changed dramatically! I got medicine for my hands and I'm MUCH more independent. Three years on I'm lifting double my weight on legs and I'm also teaching myself to swim and run
Dude this guy is freaking awesome! He’s a prime example of never letting anything hold you back!! Not a lazy bone in that dudes body! He’s in crazy good shape and loved the video!!!!! Beast!!
A friends daughter has CP, she was told not to expect her to live passed 4 or 5 now she is 17 and walks, rides a bike and went to prom. Never, ever give up or cow to others expectations. Beast!
Eddie you are actually good at explaining things. Difference between Joseph's first rep (3:57) of deadlift and last rep(9:50) was massive. You definitely fixed his form and kudos to Joseph. Joseph is a quick learner. Really picked on your tips quickly.
As a mum to a little boy with cerebral palsy (also in stoke) I’d like to thank you for both for this video and raising awareness to everyone! I’d love my little boy to grow to knowing that he can try and continue to have close to a normal life as he possibly can! ❤️
As a medical professional, I can see a tremendous amount of work, that all of his SLT, physio and physiologist sessions have paid off, so well done my man, keep up with the good work, and kudos to Edie for giving u the space so u can show and tell your story.
I now have another real life hero. What a man. People out here complaining they're perfect life ain't perfect all the time, this man out here being a "BEAST". Massive respect.
As a person with both mental and physical (which is worsening as I’m getting older) i so appreciate the line Eddie says “he’s doing things any other normal person would do!” That to me not only sums Eddie up as person but the fact he willing to take time out and see how we as disabled people can do things any other person can do but just differently! Makes me not only emotionally happy and proud but proud to see that he’s not one that shy’s away from someone with hidden or physical disabilities! So much love and respect for this man ❤xxx
Really really awesome video! I have to try this! I'm curious, have you ever tried Next Level Diet? I got a custom muscle-building meal plan from them. And it has helped me in my bulking journey.
What a fucking trooper, not everyone born with a great start in life but you make the best you can... this guys in better shape than at least half of my friends... an inspiration and to anyone that says they can't do things, stop and remember this guy
Amazing story. Thank you for doing this Eddie and Joseph. As a fellow person with a disability this is amazing to see. Please do more video's like this.
Joseph Bird is a beast.. My son has cerebral palsy and is trying to learn to walk at 6 years of age. So much respect to him and those that have helped him get to this point, really inspirational!
Hats off to you Eddie for using your platform for good and encouragement and hats off to you Joseph for not giving up. I’m missing 3 discs in my back from 3 different back surgeries and I’m almost crying watching this because today is one of those bad days where it gets hard to keep going at times. Mentally my injuries I have (I caused them myself) have taken a hard toll on me so to see awesome people like Eddie and Joseph it keeps me going. Thanks guys
You are a teacher and a legend, always giving advice to people and helping others to take correct iron exercises. You are a very lovable and kind person with a kind soul. I love you. You are my teacher, my legend and everything. Love and respect to you, Mr. Eddie. I wish you success. You always deserve the best.💙🥇🙏🏻
May I just say thankyou you inspired me and lit the fire in my belly am 24 stone at 23 years I have two kids and just started the gym again and start my journey and would to meet my idol one day because positive energy you put in your videos really comes out well and keeps me from sliding back in to my mental hole I was in for a few years once again thankyou
This is amazing. The way his deadlifts improved when he concenctrated on the proper posture. Insane. With Cerebral Palsy... ridiculous. The mind is insanely powerful.
He has excuses, he has a reason to give up. But that man is spitting in the face of his disability and doing more than most folk privileged enough to have full mobility of their body. Mass respect Jordan! Champ shit!
Love this Eddie, this video shows that you genuinely care about people and shows how big your heart is. The fact that you went into detail and was genuinely positive with encouragement was beautiful to see!
He has a great muscular body, comparing him to completely healthy individuals. It’s crazy how he could get that muscular dispute his illness. Those pecs and arms are what many men aspire to get one day. Great work, I’m not even saying this to be nice, it’s genuinely a great work and impressive.
I freakin love this, a true Champion featuring another kind of Champion! Eddie is such a great ambassador for strength sports. Well done Sir. Joseph is inspirational, keep pushing limits!
I am a residential caregiver and had a friend who I helped who had pretty severe CP. Seeing Joseph crush trying the deadlifts made my heart happy because I saw how hard even trivial tasks can be for some.
Total respect to Joe , giving it his all and showing that his disability is not stopping him and inspire others, great job Eddie on inspiring us all to be the best we can.
You’re the only RUclips person that I have Notifications on All the way, hahah Getting into Weights and gym work and watching you really pumps me up ready to go to the gym for hours Thanks! From Australian mate Sparky
Im not crying for this mans disability. Im crying for the incredible journey and hard work this man has done during all his life. I guess im a softy according to some people but damn the inspiration Joseph stands for is amazing. A man whose hand I would love to shake more than a President of any country! I dont think Mr. Bird will ever read this but Joe i wish you all the best and thank you for being such an inspiration! Keep it going! With regards, Dan.
Can’t adequately describe how inspiring this video is as someone with CP. It affects me to a lesser extent than Joseph. In my nine months of going to the gym consistently, the only powerlifting lift I’ve done is bench press, and have supplemented it with dumbbells and machines. If Joseph can get that strong and can deadlift with decent form, there’s absolutely no excuse for me not to. Thanks a bunch Eddie and Joseph, genuinely :)
Neurological disorders are hard to explain to people. People take so many things for granted they can do in everyday life, but try to explain to someone how you have to tie shoes differently, or walking down the street by itself takes focus and they can't understand. Way to go Joseph, I'm training hard every day just like you.
Brilliant video! I have a minor form of CP myself called hemiplegia that has affected my left side since birth so I can understand Joseph's frustrations when it comes to lifting. I absolutely love lifting and seeing stuff like this just keeps me motivated! Keep smashing it Joseph!
Joseph birds story reminded of another legend suffering from cerebral palsy , " Hans Dalal " he is an sound engineer turned wildlife conservationist and now he contributes immensely to the Indian wildlife efforts . 👍🏼 LOVED THE VIDEO
If you think you have it tough in life then think again. We all have our demons but there is always someone who has it harder than you! Huge respect!!!!
The absolute biggest love for you beast and Joseph Bird man what a fucking SUPERHERO, Another beast in pure form imagine if everyone had such a positive attitude!! Well done lads 👍
he has my admiration i am disabled and i need to walk a bit each day just to keep me going and it is no fun keep up the great work and thank you for the video

Couldn't have articulated that better myself !

Such a great attitude! From disability temporarily to mobility to ability to super ability!

Been following Joes instagram for a few years now and this dudes pursuit of self improvement is incredible.
Two awesome guys working out, no excuses! Keep lifting Joseph.
Also who the hell is leaving dis-likes on this video.
Joseph Bird is a beast.. My son has cerebral palsy and is trying to learn to walk at 6 years of age. So much respect to him and those that have helped him get to this point, really inspirational!

Watched this video 8 times. joseph is truly inspiring can't stop smiling keep up the good work guys!
I'm just blown away by it as well! He actually is in GREAT condition for someone with normal mobility, nevermind something as serious as CP
Guy is an inspiration, if he can get to the gym and put in the effort to improve no one else has an excuse why they cant get in the gym.
Joseph, you are a example to everybody, greetings from Holland and much respect

Props to this man. Making the best of your situation. Very motivational. You can either feel sorry for yourself or get to work
These videos are always inspiring, but this one is especially so. To see someone like him work so hard through all that he struggles with is amazing.
