MoronicTAS you've got to do a tas of this again by talking to the npcs that save text. That needs to be completed as well. For Child Link, The npcs are in Kokiri forest before you beat deku tree, Gorons before you beat the cavern, 2 or 3 Zora's in Zora Domain as child. And 6 npcs in Kakariko Village as child. The Master carpenter by tree, the fat lady in the house, the skeletula person in middle when you have 9 or less skeultlas, then talk to him again once you obtain 10 or more. The tall guy with black eyes in Impa's house. (Both day & night) The clock soldier by Kakariko's entrance, (I think both day & night text save after talking to him.) I'll list the ones for Adult Link after you reply to this comment.
Had so much fun watching the first 100% TAS. It's obvious that many parts can be improved but a major problem about categories of that length is that "proper" TASing would make so many segments and possibly the route itself outdated that it's difficult to get a satisfying result. I really appreciate the amount of work you guys put into it and it's great to see how your skills have improved. Looking forward to watching your upcoming projects! (when's all permanent flags? Kappa)
My favorite category of any speedrun, and any game route as well. For some reason I have a need to 100% every game that I own, so I find it really entertaining that people can make these, and make me look like an ameatuer in the process haha

This is such a nice way to pass time, 4 hours well spent. I would love to see someone make an input history thing for this TAS to scroll by the bottom of the screen. That would make me very happy just to see a hundred Zs fly by.

I've watched most of the OoT TAS runs on RUclips and I've never seen some of the strats you use here. Seriously, well done. Now I just have to sit and wait patiently for a 100% Majora's Mask run.

Don't know why this popped up in my recommendations just today, but this is an excellent job. Splicing was put in for entertainment purposes, and it works very well together. I am a massive fan of the Zelda community for speedrunning, and the like. Big fan of ZFG as well, he's gone on to say that a sub 3 TAS might be possible in the coming years, what are your thoughts on that?. Either way, i love the way this was put together, and i hope to see a new one with new strats soon. Keep up the good work!
This is the original version of the game, I can tell because the blocks have the crescent moon instead of the gerudo marking. Is there a difference between the original version and the updated version?

Incredible that a game that came out in 1998 takes almost 4 hours with the fastest possible route. Not many games these days could put up a challenge like this

Pualus17 noone said that its perfect its just that 90% are commenting about the splicing instead of giving some feedback about the tas itself.
Even with this being an old route it's still faster than the current world record.
