Shane’s remarks about Hearn are absolutely bang on, it’s an especially recent phenomena. Hes always titillating and front loading big names then revealing the real opponents from the lower echelons in his second breath.
Bottom line is, there isn’t a promoter or promotional company anywhere NEAR Eddie Hearn and Matchroom hence why you have to keep talking about them at EVERY interview and at your own biggest event! Eddie Hearn lives rent free in their heads
They all do this. We've been wanting Fury to fight AJ and Usyk for years and instead we get Whyte, Chisora and Ngannou. They just take the easiest fights for the most money and if the money isn't there they won't fight.
@@velroybailey9610 I agree to an extent but I do think the balance of power has shifted slightly. The matchroom stable certainly doesn’t have the monopoly on talent that it used to, and the fighters with geniune star appeal (in UK at least) are mostly operating on other platforms.
In chiming with Shane’s view though, almost everything that Eddie has ever said about Tyson Fury has been eventually proven to be wrong.

Lol Fury was meant to fight Kabayel in December 2020 and was linked to Charr last year.
Kabayel is an absolute turkey of a fight. His best win was against the worst performance of Chisora’s career about 6 years ago.
@@adamschmid7565 what can Kabayel do when no one will fight him ? He’s been world ranked for 6 or 7 years. Two time European champion. Was meant to fight Wallin prior to Wallin getting the Fury fight but Wallin got injured.
Kabayel was a natural fight for Wardley after winning the British but instead he would rather chase Clarke and Adaleye.
