The opening offer is a joke both sides are too experienced to fall for that non sense. The real negotiations will be on defining the percentage split. Hearn will want it closer to 30% and Wilder 40% because of the manditory situation time is of the essence. If Hearn wants the fight he would cut the crap and not send out a fixed fee and negotiate on the true battle ground the percentage split.

Not a good sound rational arguement it is not an excelent offer. Wilder brings a huge amount of VALUE to THIS fight that will make the numbers far bigger than any previous AJ fight. I notice you focus only on what Wilder would make not Joshua. If if the numbers were in the $100M range which IMO IS toppy at $20m which it is not the offer is £12.5 which is $17.8 Joshua would be walking away with $80M + Parker got a percentage in the 35% range if Wilder got the same percentage and the fight was huge in the $100M range the fixed offer is barely over half and on that basis he would be a fool for taking it and anybody who can not see that is fool also. The speculative estimations are all over the place a percentage split is the only acceptable way to go and the fact that that was never offered or on the table speaks volumes about Eddie Hearn and his motives. If you can't see the logic you are either blinded by bias or thick or both.

It’s quite simple, Wilder wants more than he’s worth, he wants to take more when he’s already been offered 5 times his biggest pay day, AJ brings the money, AJ brings more belts, AJ brings more crowd and fans, all FACTS, I’m not actually an AJ fan, I think Tyson Fury beats them all if they can’t knock him out. It’s very clear that Wilder knows he has a very good chance of losing so he’s trying to scrape the barrel for more than he’s worth, also Wilder has said it’s not about money, and he’s guaranteed the reverse purse in the rematch if he wins, tell me again how it’s not Wilder who is running?
Anthony Joshua, Eddie Hearn, and IFL TV have been the holy trinity for the incredible growth of boxing over the last few years, and we also cannot forget Tyson Fury for largely getting the ball rolling in 2015. Everyone in the sport should thank all of them.
