I’m an educated Christian but I’d study Islam from an apologetics prospective. I’ve studied the history in both faiths. I want to keep it simple and just say… I’m now a Muslim and a Muslim brother not practicing came to me yesterday and gave me this video. He seen I was seeking Allah and from his heart he wanted me to know the truth.

May I ask you this: Are you good enough for Allah to let you into heaven? Have you met the standard of righteousness he requires? This standard is something Jews, Christians and Muslims have in common and is expanded upon in the 10 commandments.
Would you consider yourself to be a good person?
How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, no matter how small, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God's name in vain/blasphemed, even ‘OMG’? That’s taking the name of the God who gave you life and using it in the place of a cuss word - would you do that with your mother’s name? Have you ever dishonoured your parents? Most people probably have broken all 4 of these commandments. I myself have. I’m not judging you but if you have done these things then you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, rebel by your own admission. That's only 4 of the 10 commandments. God is fully just so he must and will punish every and all sin (which is departure from/rebellion towards God and the conscience) when he judges us. He cannot simply cancel our debt and let us go, or else he would be unjust. If you went into the courtroom and said: ‘Yes Judge, I’ve done these things but I also give money to the Red Cross and volunteer at an old-age home. I try my best to love people’ the judge is not going to take that into consideration. You’ve broken the law; the good you’ve done won’t help at all on the day of judgement.
If he judges you by the moral law will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is Hell. Doesn’t that concern you? But, fortunately, that is not God’s will. He is so loving and merciful, he made a way for you to be forgiven. The Son of God came down as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect, sinless life, so was the perfect sacrifice. He excruciatingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL debt we owe because of sin; justice is fully done. You and I broke God's law and Jesus paid the fine in his life's blood, being resurrected again 3 days later. That’s why he said “It is finished” on the cross - in other words the debt has been paid. God has the payment ready to go for you. What you need to do is repent (recognising you are a sinner deserving God's punishment, turn to Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Our works can do nothing as by the standard of God’s moral law we fail, but faith in him is enough to save us from all sin - past, present and future! Then though you have grievously offended God, he will forgive you and you will inherit eternal life being reborn in the Holy Spirit when you put your trust in the Lord and saviour. Too, you enter a covenant relationship with God - sonship, and truly I tell you your life will change in his presence. So repent and trust (i.e. Biblical faith), receive the free gift of grace.
He redeemed me. God, The King of The Universe, came down as a man. He lived the first 30 years of his life as a poor carpenter then spent the next 3 preaching, healing and saving souls - all the while being persecuted, insulted and hated by his own people - and took the punishment to save our lives. It’s the most amazing love that anyone ever displayed. Christianity’s not just a religion. It's a pure, sweet relationship with God. Because of Jesus, I am now a son of God. He is my dad, and you can be his child too. God loves you. Will you let him come?

That does not mean all pre-Islamic Arabs believe in mixture of these beliefs. Each might have their own belief. Besides Allah, the dominant beliefs include Cosmology (moon, stars and sun), Hubai, al-Lāt, al-‘Uzzā, and Manāt were mentioned in the Quran. Arab Christians who used Hebrew Bible believe in Elohim. Muhammad continued to use Allah as he did not know what to call his god. In the Quran, Allah used "We" instead of "I" following the polytheistic Arabs’ beliefs. Preachers who say it is "Royal We" are deceiving. "Royal We" was first used in 1200 AD while the Quran came 600-700AD.

Who is the ‘I AM’?
It is God’s revealed name in the Old Testament book of Exodus:
Exodus 3:14 - God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”
1) He identifies himself with the name of God.
2) He doesn’t say I was, but I am. So he was pre-existent before Abraham and has not changed his Godly essence since then.
Who is the ‘First and the Last’?
Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: “I am the FIRST AND I AM THE LAST; BESIDES ME THERE IS NO GOD.”

Who is allowed worship?

Who did John the Baptist prepare the way for?
Matthew 3:1-3 - Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said,
“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of THE LORD, Make His paths straight!’”
- John had prepared the way for Jesus, the LORD.. . .

Jesus clearly preached The Kingdom of God and that we should abandon our own ways of thinking and adapt to the culture and philosophy of God's Kingdom and not religion! I am a follower of Jesus and I read the Bible in it's proper context and that it is about a King (Jesus), his Kingdom and his children (man). Jesus as King of Heaven never preached Christianity he never preached religion. Fun fact: The people he rebuked were religious people! His purpose was to restore what Man once lost when they sinned against his law: And that is the Kingdom of God. God's original purpose for Mankind was that we were to rule the Earth and all the living things in it on His behalf. Jesus wanted us to change the way we were taught to think and adapt the way of his Kingdom (love your neigbour as yourself, forgive always etc.). We are to share the Kingdom of God into the whole world and forsake our ways so that Heaven may be on Earth and not just in Heaven. May God be praised! Amen

Your point is so dumb you’ve literally just stated their “God’s original purpose for Mankind”- now why would the creator of the universe change his purpose for mankind, if he is a creator he would be the all knowing omniscient and all powerful omnipotent, and would NOT need the purpose of mankind to be changed. God knows the predestination of the universe before it’s created and therefore you are wrong in saying that his purpose for mankind changed and he needed Jesus to do so. You believe you read the ‘correct’ bible like you say so but it is so obviously and openly distorted since the whole of the Bible is fiction anyways as none of it came from Jesus’ actual disciples and had to be distorted through the years in order to be accepted. Try picking up the Quran and reading it since it is actually an original (unlike the bible), flawless and accurate guidance to the correct religion being Islam.

Jesus was sent to His people to correct them from the path they had strayed from. Which is the straight path to God that Moses had established for his people through the Law (Torah). As time went on, the keepers of the 'Word of God' began to distort what God had commanded them to do and instead began innovating traditions etc. This is why you'll find Jesus challenging the Scribes, pharisees and Rabbis. Hence he wasn't there to destroy the law, but to fulfill it via re establishing it for his people through the Gospel. Religion isn't supposed to be based on traditions and practices but rather 'a way of life'. You'll never find Moses as one who practised Judaism nor Jesus Christianity. But they both and all prophets followed a way of life as intended by God. This way of life they preached to their people during their times. This way of life is completed and established with the last and final prophet and messenger, (this way of life) intended for all of mankind. As Muslims we understand all of those principles just as encapsulated in "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the father except through me" 100% agreed by every Muslim.

Honestly...what a ginormous mess and a sad indictment on the evolution of so-called Christianity to what it became!
That Paul was clever and cunning, who knows what his true intentions were, a mole sent to destroy the message or completely gone looney. One thing it wasn't was to follow the teachings of Jesus (pbuh) which was true Monotheism and in line with all the Prophets (Islam)
It makes sense why the pagan Romans would adopt his bent message. But kudos to those handful of true believers who remained steadfast and passed on to the next generation the message of Jesus (pbuh) towards the final revelation the Quran.
Mixed messaging, blasphemy, and scientific inaccuracies. God corrected all this confusion found within the Bible by sending down his final revelation, the Glorious Quran. Time for Jews and Christians (and of course, wider world) to revert, you know Islam is the only way.

Saw this guy in Nottingham, UK, in around 2011. He lied about the bible to try to convince people of Islam, and strengthen their view of the weakness of the bible. He did this because he thought there were no Christians in the room so I challenged him on it after, since I was also a youth worker. His speech strengthened my view in Christianity since he had to use lies about it to try to discredit it. I came here since I was reminded of this by a friend who has become a Muslim and it caused me to search his talk. It is easy to 'discredit' a religion if you build it up with lies then just pull down that false view easily, It's called a 'straw man' argument. Where you create a man out of straw, metaphorically speaking, then show how easy you can knock it down. Deception

To clarify, in brief terms, he spoke in a way that was deceptive. You could see he thought there were no Christians in the crowd and so he gave a false representation to the Muslims about the weaknesses of Christianity. to strengthen their faith. Sadly it was built on false ideas of Christianity and actually it made me a strong Christian going to his talk about why Islam is true etc.

Paul was a great man. He didn't preach the trinity. The trinity was developed in the 300s. Paul was the Apostle for the Gentiles. Paul didn't FORCE the law on the Gentiles. But he did teach the Gentiles to live a virtuous life. He wrote so many beautiful letters in the NT. Paul taught that is better to be circumcised in the heart. That a true jew is a doer of the law. Paul focused on faith. That through faith a person submits to God, not through circumcision. Can someone tell me what is the message and for who is it. Its in the quran chapter 3 3-4. I believe the Torah is the bond G'd with the Jewish people. The gospel is the new testament which message is Yeshua died for your sins on the cross ressurected. In my search for Yeshua as in the torah, bible and quran described this line is a little confusing as muslims don't believe Yeshua died on the cross and thus not ressurected and miss the message he is the last lamb as sacrifice. Ok, in a nutshell, the Quran is the final revelation of God and therefore uncorrupted, and by being the final revelation, it is for all humanity till the end of times.
God sent previous revelations to particular nations for their time (i.e., to the Children of Israel), of which a few are mentioned in the Quran, such as the Torah and Injeel (Gospel). As Muslims, it is an article of faith that you have to believe in all God's revelations BUT as they were sent in their original form, not what we have today because they been changed, this, that whatever. The cross, dieing for mankind's sins, the trinity etc, none of that exists in Islam as they are man made notions and considered blasphemy.
So the Quran had to be sent with the final Messenger Muhammad (pbuh) to once again affirm the message of Islam and True Monotheism, but this time, the revelation and message would remain protected till the end of times.

If nabi Isa (as) was sent specifically to the Jews, this I know....but then what were the other people around, the Gentiles what were they supposed to believe?? What if they wanted to become a true believer in Allah, if they weren't/couldn't be Jews because Jews were a like ethnicity being decedents of Judah, then what about them, what true religion was for them?? People who were alive before Muhammad's arrival and the Quran, will be delt with with just ways, for God is Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving. If one dies knowing misconceptions of Islam, and if they did not know the message of Islam, they would still have the chance to go to Heaven. Allah will test them on the Day of Judgment.

How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, no matter how small, and what do you call someone who steals? That’s taking the name of the God who gave you life and using it in the place of a cuss word - would you do that with your mother’s name? Have you ever dishonoured your parents? Jesus said whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart. Have you ever looked with lust? Most people probably have broken all 5 of these commandments. I myself have. I’m not judging you but if you have done these things then you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, rebellious adulterer-at-heart by your own admission. That's only 5 of the 10 commandments. God is fully just so he must and will punish every and all sin (which is departure from/rebellion towards God and the conscience) when he judges us. He cannot simply cancel our debt and let us go, or else he would be unjust. If you went into the courtroom and said: ‘Yes Judge, I’ve done these things but I also give money to the Red Cross and volunteer at an old-age home. I try my best to love people’ the judge is not going to take that into consideration. You’ve broken the law; the good you’ve done won’t help at all on the day of judgement.
If he judges you by the moral law will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is Hell. Doesn’t that concern you? But, fortunately, that is not God’s will. He is so loving and merciful, he made a way for you to be forgiven. The Son of God came down as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect, sinless life, so was the perfect sacrifice. He excruciatingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL debt we owe because of sin; justice is fully done. You and I broke God's law and Jesus paid the fine in his life's blood, being resurrected again 3 days later. That’s why he said “It is finished” on the cross - in other words the debt has been paid. God has the payment ready to go for you. What you need to do is repent (recognising you are a sinner deserving God's punishment, turn to Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Our works can do nothing as by the standard of God’s moral law we fail, but faith in him is enough to save us from all sin - past, present and future! Then though you have grievously offended God, he will forgive you and you will inherit eternal life being reborn in the Holy Spirit when you put your trust in the Lord and saviour. Too, you enter a covenant relationship with God - sonship, and truly I tell you your life will change in his presence. So repent and trust (i.e. Biblical faith), receive the free gift of grace.
At the moment, you’re like a man who’s about to jump off a 10 000-foot cliff and they are trying to save themselves by flapping their arms; that won’t help you. Trust and depend on the parachute. Jesus is the only one who is righteous enough to enter heaven; but the elect are covered by his righteousness; He and he alone is our qualification to get to heaven.
He redeemed me. God, The King of The Universe, came down as a man. He lived the first 30 years of his life as a poor carpenter then spent the next 3 preaching, healing and saving souls - all the while being persecuted, insulted and hated by his own people - and took the punishment to save our lives. It’s the most amazing love that anyone ever displayed. Christianity’s not just a religion. It's a pure, sweet relationship with God. Because of Jesus, I am now a son of God.
