Hi Allen, glorious vid as usual mate, over here in Europe, an amazing guy has designed a programme for android devices called TX Advance, it includes scanning ( need a dongle) intermod calc and frequency deployment to your TX's and it's on a special price right now, I took the leap ( and had to buy an android device, cos I'm an Apple fanboy) I would highly recommend taking a look at it mate. it doesn't work with RF Explorer at the moment BUT I think its an excellent start. Just thought I'd share it with everyone.

With that kind of knowledge level, you may easily pass Radio Amateur Exam. :) Yes, we may create IM and harmonics frequencies, but how it affecting the quality of the audio signal, depends on how good the RF filter circuit of the receiver. A very good receiver/radio ables to reject all the IM and harmonics. So, look at the receiving performance when purchasing wireless system. Thank you.

Anyway it is still good to know what is happening around us. If we really want to see what RF are around us, just get a cheap USB Software DEfined Radio (SDR), and explore. It also nice when we need to use/select certain frequency or band on location, because we able to 'see' what frequencies at the location. Thank you, again. :)
I once had to give a Lecture on this and it didn’t go as smooth as yours. You forgot to include the extra channels potentially in huge same band for IFB and boom TB.
DME range from first glance appears interesting for usages where other bands are congested or otherwise problematic. My take on this, without testing the gear first hand, is that you should be mindful when considering higher-frequency radio systems, because the wavelengths are smaller, so RF obstructions like metal stuff, car panels, human bodies, etc. will have significantly greater effect. Line of sight will be very important as well. Try before you buy, and consider usages where line of sight is likely, such as handheld microphones and sends to camera.
And that's also the appeal behind 941. It's away from most of what other users would be in or near. When transmitters are below 608MHz and IFBs are in 941, it's made for a very pleasant experience to my experience.
