This series is an absolute slow burner. Your RUclips channel was suggested for your deep dive into Nickelodeon Studios which I watched and then I realized oh damn there is much much more. Can’t wait to catch up on 5 years of content in 5 days.
Odeon leister Square was the first cinema in the UK with air conditioning. Its also still got its original organ. They do special events with silent films. An amazing experience and well worth going.
I have very vivid memories of watching CFF films, they were shown as afternoon schedule fillers or during holidays for quite a few years after they finished production. IIRC the later films could be as long as an hour, and tended to lean more on fantastical elements - special powers, aliens, time travel, ghosts etc.
I'm loving these Nick Knacks so far! ( working my way through ) I noticed a clip of Mr. Horatio Knibbles, which may not have been included on the Nickelodeon block but I believe the Disney Channel aired it! I know I have it on a VHS tape.
Two within 24 hours! Plus, he said on Twitter he's doing an addendum video for a lost 1979 Nick show. If we're lucky, it might be out before February, meaning 3 in a month!
You left a bunch out. There were three kids stuck in the water with an explosive old WW2 mine, a Davy Jones locker Australian adventure, and a kid who sees the plot to kidnap or kill the Pope or the Prime Minister chased around by killers!
What can I say? You do the real legwork, you give credit where credit is due, and you manage to tie all the minutea of television history into an engaging narrative. :)
Gotta admit, I wasn't expecting you to find the time to make a second one paired up with last one, seeing as you had to sit through all those BBC mini-series for it.
FIRST ROW FEATURES Camerons, The Bungala Boys Davey Jones' Locker Escape From The Sea Great Pony Raid Hide And Seek, The Hide And Seek Lionheart Operation Third Form Up In The Air Wreck Raisers
The claymation Nickeleon bumper with the worms HAS to have had the same animators as Front Row Features.
The amount of research that goes into this series is great. Can't wait until we get to "Rugrats - Nick Knacks #1467"
AlexodusJones Aka, one of the only Nick cartoons l grew up with, thanks to being a foreigner.

And possibly ANOTHER 10-15 episodes to get to Nickelodeon's Doug.

Good stuff so far. I'm a nerd that loves history especially anything tv or movie related

I think I've been there when I went to London, or it might have been a different Odeon theater. I don't remember.
Man, the crazy depths this series plunges never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for all your hard work!

Two in a month? You’re spoiling us, Greg!

Oh, it won't be out before February, I'm afraid.
Oh, dang it. Well, still looking forward to it! And the rest of Nick Knacks too!
(I'm @snorbertd1 on Twitter by the way)
Oh well, I can wait!

Very interesting series, and very informative on each show and/or the people or companies behind each series. Keep up the great work.
cute animation in the video and interesting info 😌
This was the UK's answer to The Wonderful World of Disney.
This series is too good to be true.
1980-1981
I'm a grown adult and that rabbit is going to give me nightmares.
Would love to find these movies
So would I. I'd like show them to my nephew
I wish you would make a documentery film, of Calvin and Hobbes. :)
This is a good reminder that every generation of adults worries about the next generation of kids. Same as it ever was.
