Danielle's the liar... she invited her old boyfriend to visit in the beginning of the relationship and expected Yohan to just accept it..wow..everybody forgot about that..Then when people started to notice how she really is..she tried so hard to find dirt on him to get acceptance from the viewers..looks like they fell for it..watch from the beginning of the relationship and see how likable she is.
Think about this she had all his logins, who’s to say she wasn’t messaging people, everyone seen how she really acts throughout the season. I think she saw how she was perceived and she set him up. She didn’t show any real proof, nothing from his actual phone, everything is on a social media message.

I agree that the English in those texts is better than how Yohan normally speaks... but I think that's because he used Google Translate. A lot of non-English speakers will used Google Translate to get the wording right before they message you, and it'll come through a lot better than how they'd sound if they were speaking to you. I fully believe he's the one who sent those texts. I dont think that was staged at all.
If Yohan didn't have many women he's trying to scam, he wouldn't have said "I don't remember that conversation, it may or may not be true.". He would've continued to flat out deny the allegations as he was doing before Memori showed.

He met her employed and even had entrepreneur ideas( i.e butcher shop). She was never supportive as a wife to him. The other thing is she claimed to have been to the DR times before she met Yohan. She's an adult woman and should have known any young guy who hits on older women there is looking for money and a trip to the US. Yes, some do it for the "prestige" of getting an American, but if there's no money, that goes down. I've lived in Belize for 22 years and I learned this very quickly, especially about guys that work in the tourism industry. If you're looking for a one night stand, then have fun and use protection. Go home with your vacation memories, but these are not men looking for a serious relationship. Once men know I'm not a tourist, not retired, not rich, their interest usually decreases greatly. The "where are you from" question is a dead giveaway, especially on Facebook where if someone looks at your profile for 2 minutes, they should be able to tell where you're from and maybe even your profession.

It's most Caribbean men, especially those that work in tourism. Older, wealthy women visiting their countries come on to these guys all the time and you better believe they're spending money on these young guys, having sex immediately, acting very badly. I've lived in the Caribbean for 22 years and it's a shame that I can't go out without every other young guy coming on to me thinking I'm going to behave like these tourists. It gets very annoying. I don't even live in a tourist areas, but every time I leave my house to go to the store, some guy says something to me on the street. It happened just a few hours ago. After all these years, I've learned how to deal with it, even if I don't like it. Pedro and Chantel were at least the same age, so maybe in the beginning there was actually an attraction beyond her being American, but Yohan is classic Caribbean tourism dude.

I got scammed by someone like Yohan, but I figured it out in 2 months. These women have to be bottom line delusional and I was only 1 year older than the scammer and from the same country! I was born in DR but moved to USA young lol.
Good on you. I have lived in Belize for 22 years and when I was 34 and recently single, guys in their 20s were constantly hitting on me because I look like a tourist. Now that I'm 56, guys in their 20s are constantly hitting on me because I look like a tourist. I haven't bought any of their attempts. They're really easy to notice very quickly. Danielle had visited the DR several times before meeting Yohan, so she definitely should have known better! Glad you caught on quickly.

I was scammed but in a different way. I was 10 years younger than him and thought he was a good man. Turns out he just wanted a cleaner and carer for his "mom". He wanted me to pay for my stay while I cared for that woman, cleaned the house, cooked, washed, everything.

He told me about her being his ex and I put the pieces together and messaged her. Luckily she was nice about it and told me the truth. She thought it was messed up because she thinks it could be done to her as well, only reason she told me. His whole family was in on it, and his coworkers too! This is an organized crime lol

I think Danielle should warn the USA embassy, about all of this in case in the future he wants to go there, they will know the true reasons
They will not care about one person. If so, they'd be getting messages all day about this. It's why the Embassy has very strict rules about visas from particular countries. Once a person pays the high fee just for application alone, there's a lot of paperwork required, proof, interviews. It's not an easy process that the show suggests.

Ehm i dont think she would or at least she would never return to the USA, she fled from all of her debts basically.. she owes some governmental entity (im not american so i dont remember the name) at least 90.000 dollars for outstanding tickets and other debts.
